I've never played league of legends before but I've been watching the stream between sc2 games and I can't follow anything without displaying seizure symptoms after a few minutes. It just seems like total chaos, and this is coming from someone who played dota for years. The art style is a bit much ![]() You are probably even more lost if you watch a professional level Beat'em'up game ;-) For LoL its really easy to follow if you know the different champs and their skills. Just imagine if every unit in starcraft could cast some spell and you watch a high level game for the first time without any game knowledge. You probably would just be confused about whats going on.

Just a very cool utility spell. I'd rather have Widow Mines xD

Bolded part I think is the main problem. While Starcraft has about 40 different units with only a few spells, LoL and Dota2 have about 100 heroes each? And each hero has 4 spells. So I actually have to memorize 400 spells, not mentioning what all the items can do. If you don't play it yourself, imo you have no chance of really following the action properly.

Recall gives Protoss the ability to actually put on consistent aggression without risking everything.
