Yeah man, overseers should be able to counter templars and sentries.

Good game, i was really looking forward to watch some korean zerg.

Can you explain this to me? I never understeand what is going on there in LoL? I sometimes just check some stream and all I see is random colours jumping all over the place. It just makes no sense to me, I can't even say, what is going on there. Like, what is this?

League and any Dota-like game are hard to follow if you don't know anything about them. League especially because of the ugly art-style (in my opinion, looks a lot worse than DOTA2).

Violet playing very sexy today

I have to agree with this. I've never played league of legends before but I've been watching the stream between sc2 games and I can't follow anything without displaying seizure symptoms after a few minutes. It just seems like total chaos, and this is coming from someone who played dota for years. The art style is a bit much

You are probably even more lost if you watch a professional level Beat'em'up game ;-)

For LoL its really easy to follow if you know the different champs and their skills.
Just imagine if every unit in starcraft could cast some spell and you watch a high level game for the first time without any game knowledge. You probably would just be confused about whats going on.
It really tied the room together.

HotS recall is looking terrible to me. I can't fathom how restricting it to nexuses and making it so readily available was thought to be a good idea by Blizzard.

Fair enough it's just that this game isn't impressive on timings/micro, kinda what you need for 2 base old school attacks.

yea violet is slightly better and countered his strats, this makes socke look pretty bad these games whereas he looked unstoppable vs the other zergs

What's wrong with it, does not seem very imbalanced at all. Just a very cool utility spell. I'd rather have Widow Mines xD

I really hope Blizzard will shuffle the map pool when HotS launches. Seeing HotS played at these old as earth maps makes things less interesting in my opinion. Obviously this tournament will have to use old maps though, since otherwise players wouldn't know what to do.

Yeah, that's just how Protoss works, either your attacks work and you look good or they don't work and you don't look good, there is rarely a middle ground.

Bolded part I think is the main problem. While Starcraft has about 40 different units with only a few spells, LoL and Dota2 have about 100 heroes each? And each hero has 4 spells. So I actually have to memorize 400 spells, not mentioning what all the items can do. If you don't play it yourself, imo you have no chance of really following the action properly.

Because every Protoss attack being semi-allin was so great to watch in WoL. Recall gives Protoss the ability to actually put on consistent aggression without risking everything.

I think number of maps won is the first rule to break tiebreaker.

Well, only about 30 heroes/champs are used competitively.
