I so hope ret had practiced hots info eternity so that he'll crush feast and get out of huis slump.
|
Wow! A benelux showdown, wonder how they both fare in HotS. Going to be tuning in for sure!
|
Ret has been practicing, but just like in the past year he's not very good so I think Feast will take it.
|
This is really hard to call. Whoever has practiced more HOTS probably takes it. In WOL I would give both a 50/50 chance to win.
|
I don't know... Ret lost to Gretorp, so...
|
This will be lopsided. Feast 3-0. Ret was a weird invite.

NASL caster bash. more showmatch than serious.

If this was last year, I would have said Feast win easily. Now he seemed so much below the radar that it's actually hard to predict. I'm not sure he practiced HotS a lot so I'll give this to Ret. It all depends on Feast willingness to go to a MLG in the end.

gogo Ret!
We need more Zergs through to make the race composition better rounded (just saying that feels awkward >.>), and Ret is Liquid so you can't help but cheer for him!
I've always liked Ret's personality as well.
|
FEAST hell yeah ! I don't know if feast trained host but he was very solid (sometimes borderland crazy with his pvp strat i give you that) but in wol he should be able to take out ret.
He has my blessing.
also,do it for belgium ! they feel leftover i feel

Please Feast, win this one.

I can't believe people were counting Ret out. He played amazing there.

yus! enduring locusts ^^
he's so good with roach/hydra/SH/Corruptor
|
Wow Ret just botched that harddd. Swarm Hosts absolutely DOMINATE if used right..
|
This overseer explosion animation is so cool ! GG Feast (and thank you Ret) !

That second game was pretty anticlimatic.

I'm really confused as to why feast retreated that far back. He let ret, with pretty much a few ling/hydra and swarmhost just run across the map unhinged. he could have atleast forced a few burrows and taken a more forward position.

Kick my ass on the ladder, eliminate almost all the zergs already, 4-gate and cannon rush my ass back in the WoL beta.
:p

Damn that was a sick move by feast was ret unaware of the sentries though he could have picked up an absurd amount of gas from those sentries.

Ret's really wasting locust waves by not burrowing/unburrowing a lot.
|
yus! Knew Ret could do it
|
God damnit Ret now more zergs are going to be using swarm hosts on the ladder T.T
|
Damn, swarm hosts are good...
|
Swarm host have a lot of potential.
|
Very convincing performance from Ret. GG!

Congrats Ret! Good luck at MLG!
|
This is how players react to swarm hosts: try and see if you can fight the swarm hosts --> discover you can't --> lose because you already suicided your army on swarm hosts.
If you see swarm hosts you have to ask yourself: can I fight this cost-effectively? And if not, then don't engage.

I kinda feel that Swarm Host is a hard unit to use properly so I guess a lot of players would not be able to do really well with Swarm Host.
|
Well played Ret! Nice to see SH in action in a pro match. I feel they have a lot of potential but are quite hard to use correctly (both in positioning them correctly, providing the correct cover and to transition into them). Well done Ret!!
|
they look so strong but i will say that if zergs just tech to them and mass produce then a patch will have to come in to make the game more balance
|
Uhm ... If that's HotS I'll refrain from watching in the next few months until people learn to play it. Because if all you need to win a ZvP nowadays is to make drones and burrow swarm hosts, it's just sad. Well as predicted Feast didn't practice HotS while Ret did.

Well so far I've lost 100% of my PvZ's when my opponent went for swarmhosts, granted not a large sample size maybe 10 games at most... but still even poorly controlled swarms are a bitch to deal with.
I'm not saying they are OP because I really don't think they are at all. They are just the most frustrating unit to deal with, I love HotS has a unit like this in it. Makes me want to pull my god damn hair out playing against Swarm host/Overseer/Corruptor but at the same time I think the Pro's will use them and counter them in very fun and entertaining ways.

Good thing Gretorp gave Ret good practice for ZvP. Did just as well as Feast did too.

Yep, it's hard to deal with, if they use hydras or corruptors to cover them properly. They are very immobile though and don't push fast, so backstabbing is very strong vs Z who use a lot of swarm hosts. I'm really excited how the pros are goind to handle them. Interesting weeks/months ahead of us

But isn't everyone already? I at least do nothing else since he showed it against Rotterdam^^.

Swarm hosts are strong but I don't think Feast handled them as well as he could have this series.

The return to form for Ret? Let's hope so.
