OH YEAH!
Best BW Protoss bossing it up in SC2!
And I don't want to start an Elephants shitfest so if you say I'm wrong then I'll agree with you. But it feels like for the most part with a few exceptions (ex. Bisu and Stork), the best BW players at the time of the switch seem to be doing well relative to their peers. Though it feels like terran seems to have translated the best in terms of skill.

Taeja and Jaedong are not there, so the only other viable options are probably Huk and JYP, since I don't think Zenio or Thorzain could have won against Jangbi. Maybe putting your faith in 3 PvPs in a row feels like a better plan? I don't know about that. That Jangbi played 4gate on Arkanoid last week doesn't mean shit that he is gonna do it again. And you cannot really blame HerO much for that loss, especially since we don't know if he even trained on Arkanoid (he probably trained mostly for Entombed and Ohana, but not much for the fifth map in the series when he expected to be needed probably on the 2nd or 3rd map). The only strange choice is Puma, but he might just have trained that map all week long, so we don't know that. Without Jaedong and Taeja, plus Stephano losing the first map, TL is not as deep a team as some make it out to be.
And finally, Jangbi played freakishly well, as did HerO. Sometimes good players just win three matches.
Every choice available was better than Puma. The coaches know this, we know this. So they are to blame, as it is their job to put the team in the best possible position to win the matches given the players they have.
If we agree that Puma was not the best option, then they sent it for different reasons than actually winning. This is why this is so frustrating.

disappointing... i hope they use their strongest (imo) 4 of jaedong/stephano/hero/taeja next round, cant afford any more losses.

This is all definitely their fault. Giving them the exposure and experience AND still closing out the match with a victory? That would be a job well done. Giving away multiple victories on the pretense of i am giving my players the exposure and experience they need in the booth, landing the team a 7th place in the league rankings? I believe you have your answer If I have to spell it out for you, all I want to say is that you can also blame the other the 3(the powerhouse, with Stephano leading them, the best of the best, the messiah EG-TL had been waiting for, for so long) for losing to BBatta/Jangbi lololol.

Yeah, Bisu and Stork aren't used to the super passive play that protoss in SC2 delivers. Terran and Zerg can still be aggressive, so they'll adapt a little bit better.

EG-TL needs to take advantage of their players' higher prowess in WoL and win some matches.
Because once Round 4 starts and HotS begins, that inherent advantage is gone.
Going into Round 4 as the bottom 4 teams is gonna be tough.

They tried against KT and got all killed lol...That's when you had Taeja, Hero, Revival, and JYP. Only missing Stephano though.

People are having problems with that Puma pick than anything else.

The main reason for cheering for EG-TL is that I know the players and what they are capable of. And I feel some loyalty to TL, could easily cheer for them no matter what. But with EG-TL, somethings missing (mainly TL players). I definitely liked CJ as a BW team, Effort and Hydra were great zergs in particular. Not sure how I feel about them as SC2 players. Maybe Stars is the way to go. Or SKT... not a big fan previously, but I do like Parting.

You said it, so precisely cause of their losses you send out PUMA??? The decision to send out PUMA would have been way better still if the powerhouses have won.
Imagine stephano had the 3 kill, taeja, jaedong, hero being available to play. Send out PUMA, if he closes out and win, great news. If he loses, EGTL still had so many potential ace players to send out.
But look at it, stephano had lost, hero went down after a 3 kill, taeja/jaedong wasn't available. They only had revival/jyp/zenio/huk/tfunk. Sends out puma instead of betting on revival+jyp/zenio.
Still going to give them the exposure despite the higher risk of losing?

Actually I'm happy KHAN picked it up a little bit. However if not for EG's coach decisions KHAN would have probable lost. Lol, EG did it again, haha

EGTL this week: Hero 3-2 Revival 3-3 Stephano 2-2 JYP 2-3 Thorzain 0-1 Puma 0-1
So what is that clear advantage in skill you speak of?

That's true, the best line up should always be on the roster.

No, we certainly do not know this. We're sitting at home in front of our computer screens and base our opinion on 3 games or so he played the last month. He might very well just have trained his ass off on this map for several weeks now. We don't know shit, we just speculate. And as if Huk, which has yet to win a game in FPL, or JYP are clearly obvious the better choices. JYP has also been mediocre since eternity and just won a couple games in R1, which might as well just have been a lucky break. Again, we don't know this or how their training went.
