Soulkey have a tricky match, the timings for (P) on Antiga are numerous and dangerous. Still he is strategically better than Jaehoon right now : Soulkey > Jaehoon sHy is very good, and I doubt Ryul2 can provided a sufficient challenge even though PvZ might be sHt's weakness. sHy / sOs > Ryul2 free is a weird one, I thought he would be way more successful right now. Him, Flying certainly got play-time but couldn't make a lot of it which penalized WJS in the end. He won last time against Zenio and Alone might not better any better so I'm still banking on a W : free > Alone ZerO bested a lot of good (T) in Week 2. I think he have a better grasp of ZvT than Speed do : ZerO > Speed
WJS 4:0 Team 8
If it goes to game 5, I can see BaBy putting enough effort to beat Sin. The latter has showed promises but might not be there yet : Sin < BaBy. And since I predict Sin to lose, Light is last to seal the deal and crush a mediocre Sang : Light > Terminator
Let's go T8, i finally ditched Samsung KHAN before they're less worth than everyone else... ^^ Hopefully they don't start winning now, except for the players i have from them.
I trust jaehoon to take another top player, then I suspect will be 3 losses, baby winning with ease and finally a very close game 6, if terminator wins then T8 got this, so either WS 4-2 or T8 4-3, going to be interesting either way! Just bought a subscription today.
I stupidly traded sHy to my anti-team, thinking that he wasn't playing because he was disguised as sOs in the lineups >.< Paying attention is good unit.
I thought Soulkey was going to lose that, stuck on 21 drones trying to finish off hoon who had 40 probes and 3 bases, really close game. it all came down to jaehoon not being able to kill the infestors so they came back to drop more IT's later.
I'm really surprised Jaehoon didn't warp in a couple of sentries to protect his third during that attack. If he'd just done that it would have been an easy victory.

ZvP...gets a bit boring. infestors and infested terran. It must have been very annoying indeed for jaehoon. Soulkey was lucky to have infested terrans, otherwise it was gg. Zerg was outplayed.
lol i feel like these casters dont even know sc2. jaehoon was super all in with his push and then was behind the entire end of the game. infestors best low econ unit and soulkey managed to keep all of his alive.

The English casting was so awful. In a fairly unpredictable dare I say exciting ending they spend it monotonely trying to predict who is going to lose. Way to build the excitement level.

All he had to do is kill off 2 of his own stalkers or zealots and warp in two sentries.

On top of that, I believe you can throw IT eggs up even if you don't have vision, so FF's wouldn't be able to stop him from losing his third/a lot of sentries
I feel like they were massively overstating Jaehoon's lead at every point. Soulkey had a million infestors regaining energy after the dust settled, Jaehoon can't attack him, he could have easily rebuilt and had an equal game. Pushing was definitely the correct choice though.
I wouldn't say jaehoon deserved to win that game, he really should have won with his 3 base push but somehow got defended. soulkey won without using any BL's, pretty good by him.

I'm talking about to defend the ling counter attack, not the roach infestor attack later on.

He actually did first time but Soulkey just lobbed the IT over and the pushed with roaches after the FFs expired since Jaehoon couldn't kill them ITs fast enough, sentries die to them too fast.

This! Pretty surprised they kept calling it in favor of Jaehoon. This is not about infestors. Afters Jaehoons failed attack, Soulkey was way ahead in army supply and just went for the kill.

He only counter attacked with lings, there was no IT's there. I'm talking about the point where he lost his third the first time during his big attack there was a ling counter.

I hate to complain about casters but one thing that annoys me about these casters is their fake shouting GG at the end when they have been talking in a monotone voice for 5 minutes. "yeah and soulkey will probably lose he's playing poorly-GEEE GEEE SOULKEY WINS" just out of nowhere and usually in the middle of their sentence. I'm sorry it's just annoying lol.

Maybe a nice change to infested terrans would be not to either slightly lower the damage (6-7) as I've previously thought, but instead to just normalise (right word?) the damage based on a faster rate of fire and a lower amount of damage per hit, such as 6 per hit every 0.65 seconds, thus making Guardian Shield stronger against it and helping it to compare to Force Field as a valid choice even more often (such as wondering whether to use one more GS for covering a smaller part of the army and always choosing to under the change). Just a thought.

IT's are pretty useless in HOTS, they don't benefit from any damage or armor upgrades, they might just transfer that nerf to WOL.

I don't think Ryul2 saw the attack coming until it was already at his third and there were like 3 proxy pylons up, after the way the game started you're kinda screwed at that point with no information of an attack in time. no time to build units and he only had zerglings anyway.
So does Cal'Deum actually play one of the desert music tracks as the background theme before any race-specific music starts because it sounded like that to me. It's pretty cool. It would be nice if more maps had a specific tune played first.

The worst thing about the current ZvP metagame, is that it severely limits cheese options. When a Protoss sees no 3rd, he's immediately going to get defensive, and no natural, how do you even expect that to work?

It's such a silly build, it's not like baneling nest is that expensive, only 50 gas. DRG died like this to Noblesse on Antiga too, said later in his fanclub that he's changed his build after that.

Because there are Korean companies sponsoring proleague for the korean viewers, and they make significantly more money from that than would be gained by charging $5 to those viewers for an HD stream.
Yeah thats basically what the future of TvT will look like for however long SC2 is played. Early hellions with a little marines, maybe some early harass, aim for the fast third, make lots of siege tanks- standoff, make battlecruisers and thors, massive battles. Deny the fifth

When you play against mech, especially on a map with this many chokes and no big open areas, you need to keep harassing mid game with bio. Mech is just really strong here when maxed.

It depends on the map as well. Bigger maps with wide open middles don't make it as easy for mech to hold position.

He's only 3-2 in PL this season, but that record comes against Fantasy, Mind, Taeja, Bogus and Baby.
Well, his win vs Fantasy was a weird base swap situation. Although he looked decent vs Bogus as well, this win was sort of his first 'good' win.
Seems like Baby just didn't know what to do against mech. He built a lot of marauders but didn't do much with them. As the bio player, you need to trade marauders for tanks in the mid game when you have the superior economy and mobility. When the mech player is rebuilding the tanks, you need to start switching to air. You cannot cede air control to a max meching player. Not sure why Baby had so few Vikings all game.
First three games were utter garbage, but the Ty vs Bravo match was quite nice to watch, though you could clearly see that Ty/Baby is not that experienced in this kind of situation, he needed to be more aggressive and drop a lot more (and not as close to the tank line as he did, but in the main).
