Nope. Code A Bo3 has always been preset maps from GOM.
Yonghwa actually commented this in his interview yesterday when they asked him about his chances against Life. He said a lot of it will come down to which maps they will play.

Yup, I'm wondering if it will stay this way as Zergs get better Infestor control though (relative to the patches changes, but also in general as Infestor control has increased almost in a linear fashion over the last year at the top level). Which is why I'm all for the unit getting nerfed more and other stuff getting better in HotS (I play Zerg btw). I think this will be like Infestors from a year ago, Zerg pros will likely get better and better at landing fungals with minimal or no damage even with the loss in range. Probably use burrow shenanigans more too as they get the extra APM's.

Right now seems ok imho. Yes fungal is a boring skill to watch, but HotS is close enough and pro players can punish those fungals easier with siege tanks. If they get better infestor control in the next 3 months, i don't mind since we will start to see more and more HotS tourneys.

Dunno but I know he didn't revolutionize queens lol. I know he's an NA zerg player but as far as I know he's never had good results in tournaments or anything.

Well, it will come down to infestor micro vs tank force fire. Almost like ghost vs templar battles. It is like saying terrans can split so good that fungals don't do much. But we have seen that even with months/year of practice, it isn't that easy to do. If you look at zergs now, they have already gotten a lot better with infestor control (no more infestor headbutts!) but that 1 range makes it THAT much harder and smaller margin of error. Even with 500 APM, you still cannot control your entire army 'perfectly'.

I hope that Z is given more options to use in HotS. I enjoyed watching infestors and even broods until I started seeing them in every game and in every matchup. Kudos to DRG for actually using ultras.

Lol... but its also true for world class players over the last two years like Leenock and MVP. Their style: owning. Despite my joke earlier in the thread the best players might have little quirks or whatever in their play but they can play any build really well. At least that is what I like to believe, for now. Someday I hope we get bizarre virtuosos that can dominate for years with a distinct style. We'll see.
