GuMiho has the most entertaining games ever, just high quality all around in all match-ups. Too bad he doesn't travel much (or at all), and he does tend to lose more than he wins in singles than team leagues.

DongRaeGu - great early on, less so now but still relevant Mvp - Mvp, enough said Leenock - good pretty much all year Life - insane second half this year MarineKing - dropped off lately, but still some of the best achievements this year. peak ELO was insane PartinG - some really solid recent results but remember he only beat one korean to win $125,000 lol. inconsistent in GSL Creator - started shining mid-year and still very relevant TaeJa - did really well for a few weeks, but his tourney wins were against rather weak lineups Rain - came on recently which is the only reason he's not higher, likely will stay relevant for a long time Stephano or viOLet - token 'best foreigner'
To find the best players what you do is take all the Code S winners and then put them in order of how well they did this year so 1.DRG (GSL,2ndOSL,2nd MLG x2, 1st MLG x2) 2.Mvp (GSL, 2nd GSL, IEM) 3.Life (GSL, 2nd TSL, MLG) 4+5 Seed&Sniper and then the next 5 best who didnt win GSL imo
plus Parting had to qualify for BWC by WCS Korea so its not just beating 1 korean.

Good candidates all, but Flash vs Ryung takes it for me.

Fungal takes so long to kill stalkers, and if you engage in a choke, upgraded stalkers should do better than roaches and lings, right? They pretty much do a lot of those timings. However Stalker/Immortal or Stalker/Collosi attacks tend to fare better because they're more balanced comps. If a Zerg gets wind of a huge blink stalker timing he can go more ling/infestor centric which really shreds Stalker balls if controlled well.

I think so too, You need support for broods and it got wiped out way before the broods finished morphing. If, for some reason a few roaches/lings and infestors survived in time for the broods I think they'd have melted to the DTs since there was no detection.

Because there are spine crawler walls. Pure blink stalker vs spine+infestor are not good. There are many others more effective pre-hive timings...
In this game violet was clearly confused by the unconventional build from hero and thats why he lost, but that push from hero was not very good. Hero is like tlo...usualy he wins disorienting his opponent with crazy things...

There is ANY chance they put the FFA game VODs for free? I want to show for a friend, but

With 3-1 upgrades and the FFs that HerO had, how would have the 0-2 (??) lings done, do you think? With blink, does it fare okay?

Very well said dude. I totally agree. Hero likes to make the game chaotic and then win with his insane micro and harassment, and in general, experience with chaotic games.

It was the Seed build man
I never did see it not work, he stopped using though so I guess they figured it out in practice.
