You can still go muta ling bling and still win the far majority of your games if your the better player, in fact i think its a better indicator of skill in a zvt matchup. Honestly, I've said this before, but the Queen Patch was the worst patch Blizzard has ever made and probably has helped stale the game more than any other combination of patches. It tried to address an issue that was a year late, and in the same patch had already addressed the issue by making overlord speed. No one was struggling to win early games vs Terran, it was merely a viable option [b] for [//b] terran. What it effectively did was cause Zerg armies to always fight on creep because it became so easy to spread. The game wasn't balanced around Zerg always fighting on creep, so everything got fucked up and terrans couldn't do timing pushes to punish a Zerg player. I remember when you used to be able to do two base tank marine pushes with maybe a medivac for support, and how exciting that was to watch and how much the tension was if the zerg was going to break out. It ruined the best matchup in the game by far and if they just reverted that single change ZvT would probably became truly great again. | ||
