As someone who never followed the Pro BW scene, and only started being interested in SC2, I used to feel the same way. Go back and watch some of the more epic BW matches. Without even having any knowledge of what the units do, only having the understand that I do from SC2, I can say without a doubt the gameplay in BW is far superior. The way the matches unfold much more slowly and deliberately, no insta-gibs because of a player not watching their army every second vs infestors, how spread out the armies and bases become, the scope alone of BW games completely outclasses any SC2 match that I've ever seen.
