This defense with the concave by life is so good! 2 secs later GG, leenock wins
the concave and defense are indeed so good, just not good enough to beat upgrade disadvantage AND infestors

What are you talking about? Concaves still matter just as much. Why does concave matter? The point of a concave is to use superior range, so taht you have more of your units attacking than the convex. If all the roaches in the convex are firing, your concave means squat. Concaves matter because you want all of your roaches attacking. In those battles, not every roach was attacking.

Additionally, you need to spread out into a good concave versus fungals.

If life hadn't gotten such good concaves and positioning, he would've lost minutes earlier.

What are you talking about? Concaves still matter just as much. quite little in roach vs roach actually because they are so fast. You just attack, move up, attack etc. Even if your roaches form a double row they can easily all be attacking.
Concaves matter more when units are actually not firing because of bad position or AoE punishes you for clumping up too much, since life didn't have infestors leenocks formation wasn't really important.

There should be only one race in sc2, so there would be no balance problems!

I don't think fungal is desirable in that context.

I think its a lot harder to balance whine when both players have the same units no? Doesn't matter if Terrans/Toss are watching or not.

The total damage is distributed across a smaller amount of roaches.
That's quite easily countered by ~1s of micro though queuing up some attacks.
