Well it can still work, but zergs have been playing smarter. Believe it or not, Zergs used to clump up all their broodlords even when they knew a mothership was coming, and even when they knew that the mothership was the only way the protoss would win. It was so ridiculous. The protoss could be a bit behind, and the zerg would refuse to spread their broodlords anyway, even though it was a basic micro requirement. Well long story short, nothing has changed balance wise with vortex, but instead of zergs playing like idiots, they learned to adapt, and now vortex is weak. It is like when banelings were used against marines initially. People were saying they were OP, but then terrans started to spread their marines and win battles against them, rather than just sitting there and taking the banelings to the face. Balance can change because of the metagame. | ||
