How does this guy have any fans ffs. Naniwa has fans purely because of where he was born, and the fact that he is good at starcraft 2. If he was korean and acted like that no-one would like him.

How does this guy have any fans ffs. I've honestly never understood the communities requirement to gg.. If you don't think it was a good game, who cares? I mean, he lost like 30 probes right in the beginning, he was probably a little bit flustered lol. Most of the time people say gg no matter what, to me, that is akin to lying when you get cheesed or whatever.

Well you're proving his point too. Koreans don't like bm players, but foreigners love bm players. So if he was a bm korean, then koreans wouldn't like him and foreigners probably wouldn't that much either compared to a bm foreigner.

What i am saying is that with non-korean players, there isn't really much choice if you want to support a player who will do well at tournaments. If you say that most people usually support players who play their race, then Naniwa is pretty much the no1 choice for non-korean protoss fans, no matter how much of an unbearable childish asshole he is when he plays.

IdrA rarely BM's in tournaments nowadays, especially vs Koreans or Top-Tier foreigners. He will BM when he gets allin'd by like Hawk or someone like that, and when he streams. He also does a lot of other content like ITG, EG videos, and he streams a lot unlike Naniwa.

It doesn't matter if Idra doesn't bm in tourneys much anymore. His fanbase is already established and it was established because of his bm as well as being a good foreigner, but the bm made him stand out from the rest. While I'm not going to say every foreigner loves bm, enough of them love bm so guys like idra, naniwa, nerchio, destiny, etc became as popular as they have. Foreigners consider bm, "personality."

At least that is why he is pretty much the only foreigner I like.

How many other foreigners are there that don't only care about the money?
