The ramps aren't especially advantageous when most of your army shoots at a max of 6 range and the AOE abilities coming at you are range 9. It makes attacking into Protoss positions tremendously difficult because you have to really commit up or down a ramp to bring firepower to bear anywhere because the map is so heavily segmented into lines of high and low ground. Huge chunks of bio can be evaporated in the blink of an eye. | ||
