While Major is surely favored against JRecco, he was definitely the underdog against Naniwa.
Everyone keeps saying he's great or that he has potential, but he doesn't really have that much to show as far as accomplishments go. Winning the TSL would certainly help Major's actual credentials.

Too bad. I don't understand this mentality. I have tried many times to understand.... if you don't think that way, don't try to understand it... you will only get frustrated, trust me. Words of wisdom.

Tough shit, he didn't qualify. Also was that last game played on EU or KR for Vortix/Keen btw? I guess if it was lagging maybe Vortix wanted to keep his faith and just A-move. Anyway was well played despite the loss, guy looks pretty talented EU v KR = NA server.

Let him support who he wants. That's the point of international competition.
But this next game is a Mexican versus a Scot. There's literally no possible explanation for complaining about them not counting as foreigners.
There's someone from the EU, there's someone from NA. If he's a closet racist, one of them is white. If he's anti-American, the NA player isn't from the US.

I do kind of get it given I was sometimes like this in brood war (No WeMadeFox = No watch for me sometimes) people like to be invested into the people they watch and I suppose they can't be invested into Koreans or something like that.

While all zergs just go and take the 4th like it's nothing..
Isn't the hard part defending 'em?

Vortix showed some really impressive play, I think that if he'd used his mutas more actively to pick off those drops on his third and fourth he could have easily taken that game. A little bit more spreading before attacking Terran (and generally choosing battles more carefully) would see that he could beat a player of Keen's level.
Great games, TvZ is my favorite matchup! Can't wait to see JohnnyRecco in beast mode!

I still can't understand how Vortix managed to fuck that up so many different times.
He a moved in one direction down that one ramp about 3 times? There was tanks there. Why do that? There must have been lag or something, I honestly don't get how anyone could make that mistake. If he'd have flanked he would have won.
I really hope Major plays mech btw.

this laggy TSL4 INTRO FUCKS THE HELL OUT of me. damnit this is so unbelieveably annoying.

Pointless discussion anyway since he's the best foreigner why wouldn't he be able to qualify ? It´s just a silly train of thought to argue: oh Stephano woulda this, Shephano coulda that. Well actually how can you tell?
