I'm surprised you are a startale fan and think that last seasons was better than this.

I'm a Starcraft fan over a StarTale fan

SlayerS players played too macro-oriented imo. Gave GuMiho the freedom to choose any build he wanted, and to punish them/control the game.

MMA was the only one to play aggressive, and it was the only game where GuMiho struggled really badly.

Gumiho is such a great player. wasn`t he also the only one ever playing random in GSL Code-S? much respect.

By the time he was in Code S, and making his Code A run into Code S he had chosen to play Terran full-time.

I thought guineapig was the random player. I used to him him and Gumiho up. Maybe they both were random.

I thought guineapig was P

Guinepig was P then T then Random then back to P then to T for awhile then P. Something like that.

Gumiho was Random when he qualified for GSL 3, fell off the map and came back as FXO's (fOu back then) 2nd best Terran (after sC, but has since shown that he's one of the best)

It's funny how people think if you thought the finals were not that great, everyone assumes you're a slayers fanboy, lol. I have no stock in either team, was happy for Gumiho/FXO, game 1 was obviously fantastic, game 2 was exciting, game 3 was exciting at first, but coca kind of threw that one away with poor spine crawler placement/movement, and the subsequent 5-10 minutes of gameplay was gumiho so far ahead that even his poor decision to pull SCVs again was irrelevant. Game 4 was obviously bad, and Game 5 was not a bad game, but not exactly as "close" as people seemed to think, lol. It was winnable for puzzle after he stuffed the 3 pronged push, gumiho was in an incredibly strong position after taking such a fast 3rd, with upgrade advantage and everything. There's nothing wrong with thinking the games weren't great, it doesn't mean you're a hater, or you're a slayers fanboy, lol.

So obviously if you thought these finals were amazing you are an FXO fanboy, right? Isn't that how it works? :p Or maybe we should go with the "What, your opinion is different than mine? You're dumb as shit!"

Best of all was the sign girls though.

I think it's more saying that those that go "these finals were awful" are slayers fanboys - because they definitely weren't awful games.

Yeah, I guess that's possible. It was definitely one of the more entertaining one-sided series I've seen. Compare it to like... nestea vs inca, or something, and it's a hell of a lot better, lol

I enjoyed the finals and I don't think Terran are OP in the slightest (and I used to a year ago, something fucking rotten) he just hapenned to play well. Games 1-3 were really good the other 2 still fine.

The boxing ring girls in green and pink were hot, we got gangam style and I sent Choi, Ha-Na many virtual kisses.
I'd say it was a pretty fucking sweet final actually.

Agree with Khaldor interview with D.Kim though, must admit it would be nice if comebacks were a bit more possible in SC2 somehow (but it's almost impossible to balance fairly for that, maybe increase the defenders advantage)

Only reason for that is because Blizzard decided to make so many hard counters to everything that even with a defenders advantage, sometimes you have no chance.

Pretty sure the MVP vs Prime finals were the worst ever.

But everything about this finals (except the result I guess) was outstanding.

These finals weren't as good as they could have been, but games 1-3 were damn good. Way better than the abomination that happened in Vegas last time.

Yea I can't wait for an actual league played in PL format; it's a much better measurement of the better team and guarantees that the fans will see all their favourite players. I mean even for FXO fans today, I bet a lot are disappointed that they only got to see one player on their favourite team in a TEAM league.

Lol it's just exaggerations mixed with over-generalizations. People saying the finals were awful could be SlayerS fanboys... or they could just be people hoping for a closer series. Then other people overgeneralize by labeling the people calling the finals awful as SlayerS fanboys. Oh, internet forums

Playing from behind tends to do that. When your team is behind 2-0, 3-0, it is very hard to pull the trigger to play aggressive, because if you get shut down, you are behind. And gumiho did a lot of ultra aggression into ultra greedy build which preyed on this.

Funny enough I was actually thinking about how awesome a well promoted Proleague with all the KeSPA and GOM teams would make for an awesome finals like we just had.

Alicia is the new MarineKing.

If that means he'll have a brief stint as "best player in the world" taking a couple MLGs in a short time period in the future, I'm okay with this :D
