I'm surprised you are a startale fan and think that last seasons was better than this.

That's a bit contradictory seeing how amazing Starcraft was played today, but oh well. "Haters gonna hate"

In all seriousness I like eye-candy and I am not one of those nerds complaining about Lauren Elise at the NASL final.

These finals weren't as good as they could have been, but games 1-3 were damn good. Way better than the abomination that happened in Vegas last time.

Not for me. This was pure heart-pumping action and passion, at a great location, great flow, lots of eyecandy. I am pretty fucking pleased.

I'm pretty sure SlayerS has never been shut out before, in any team league. They were Keen-killed in IPL but that was like a 5-2 or 5-3, and I think they were never all-killed in GSTL.

Maybe the point was that they wanted to see more than 5 games. Edit: plus a close series is generally more tense--not that the games themselves weren't close.

Not trying to be offensive or something but I feel like slayers got a bit lucky getting to the finals. while coca is good I feel like he beat players that were playing substandard at the time.

Gumiho with beach power, takes the final, making certain that BOTH finals were kinda boring. Good for him though, I guess.

I don't know what you're talking about, but if anything, Slayers has the most well-rounded team with almost every players contributing to them getting to the finals. If anything, I feel like FXO relied too much on Leenock/Gumiho this season (which there isn't anything wrong with it considering the format)

SlayerS fucked up by not sending Alicia(their best player) out at all during that entire series, and Min fucked up when he didn't all in the greediest build you will ever see in a professional game of StarCraft.

On one hand I'm disappointed for a sweep vs SlayerS, but on the other hand I'm happy for a dominating performance by a Terran.

you're correct imo. i think many matches they won the other team just played horribly bad or weird and they got too lucky. it added up like a karma to beat them down like this in the finals

Is it that hard to believe that some people wanted a close, back-and-forth series where more FXO players were showcased? I wanted to see Leenock and Tear do some work and wanted to just see more games overall, and especially the insane dramatic tension of an ace match.

that was not a boring finals really.

i know personally i wanted to see a few more players/games, but four out of the five games were really good.

I enjoyed the finals and I don't think Terran are OP in the slightest (and I used to a year ago, something fucking rotten) he just hapenned to play well. Games 1-3 were really good the other 2 still fine.

The boxing ring girls in green and pink were hot, we got gangam style and I sent Choi, Ha-Na many virtual kisses.
I'd say it was a pretty fucking sweet final actually.

Agree with Khaldor interview with D.Kim though, must admit it would be nice if comebacks were a bit more possible in SC2 somehow (but it's almost impossible to balance fairly for that, maybe increase the defenders advantage)

Only reason for that is because Blizzard decided to make so many hard counters to everything that even with a defenders advantage, sometimes you have no chance.

I'd like to think Blizzard are aware of this and intend to work on it.

Exactly. I am a SlayerS fan, but read the above post. All I'm saying is that both finals were over very one-sidedly (and with the case of Code S, boringly and quickly). Sorry, but I think I have a pretty legitimate and measured point to make, and it's not really that extremist.
Like Tinkerbelle, I leave behind a sparkly residue.
