Floating buildings is just an advantage of the Terran race. That's why you should never base race a Terran. I kind of like how JYP is one basing a lot vs Terran now. You don't see many one base builds in this game anymore outside of PvP.

Because JYP should have just left. He had 0% chance of winning, Hack knew that.

I guess it is just so the natural choke point is narrower, and it is easier to wall off/defend.
Edit: I'm assuming you aren't talking about the one at the bottom of ramp that goes up to the main?

I do like this return to one/two base timing-oriented play. I was getting kind of sick of seeing 1 gate nexus vs. 1 rax CC into greedy 3 base with no repercussions every game.
