Hope to see him at more foreign events! He's also only been playing SC2 for 6 or so months. Does he have any BW experience? Where did you hear about this? he's a former BW pro. forget which team, think his handle was anyppi or something like that. being this good after 6 or so months in SC2... jeez.
Yes, First used to be anyppi.

It's MLG, so they'll release them in time to hype their next event. They usually release replays the week of the next event.

Best thing about the event was them having streams on their site and both twitch and own3d. Props to MLG, made the experience much smoother.

I am quite pleased with how the pools look for Raleigh. I wish Oz would have won this but he has a great shot at Raleigh if he keeps up his practice which I'm sure he will.

Ahh... dat anti-stephano bias. I love how calling Stephano the "best foreigner outside of Korea" constitutes anti-Stephano bias. You can't argue with facts. But to say he wasn't underperforming when he made clear mistakes vs Oz that even code B zergs wouldn't make is rather silly. Oz played well, yes, but Stephano played poorly. Be it anti-steph bias or korean bias, it's still bias in one form or another. Also, to say that after coming off a victory vs one of the best PvZers who is currently in the finals.......... It is not bias at all. Stephano won one tournament and lost out to Oz in this one. People called me Korean biased when i said I dont think he is favored vs a few of these Koreans and that he could very well lose to Oz. He did obviously. Stephano is amongst the top 3-5 zergs in the world most likely but he is not good enough to beat the likes of MC/OZ every time. Who is to say that when he won the last tournament that MC wasnt playing bad? No Stephano fans argued that. Foreigner bias!

hard to be Korean biased when hands down they are the best in the business. Although I think with a proper team, and training Stephano could give koreans a run for their money.

Well I was completely wrong about Stephano, he didn't play that well and Oz played beautifully. But I'm so happy Taeja was able to win

Huge shoutout to the TL writers at this point. You guys always have the best headlines. "The prince is crowned"? - I'm lovin it.

OK I will try my best.
Stephano and Naniwa are the two best foreigners in the world of Starcraft 2. Both of them are at least Code A level in all three matchups and Stephano has a Code S level ZvP and ZvT while Naniwa has Code S level PvT and PvP. On a good day they could possibly beat the best players in the world, but both of them have some weaknesses that could be exploited by top Koreans. They could possibly win any tournament except Code S.
