Mass archon forces mass ghosts, and ghosts aren't cheap. We saw it in that game too, Taeja was able to get enough ghosts to neutralize the archons but because of the ghosts he couldn't get enough vikings. That's the problem of lategame TvP, you need a good number of counter units for each thing the protoss throws at you - and you need brilliant micro as well.

LAN will make this game easily susceptible to piracy. Dont want LAN. Not sure if serious. SC2 has no LAN not because of Piracy, its because Blizz wants to control all Tournaments and stop things like KesPa from making Money with the Game, if they don't have a Tourney-License.

The production and overall feel of this event is pretty stellar. Only the observing was a bit sub-par at times, but other then that it has been amazing.

LAN in BW made it so that Blizzard can't have complete control over organisations/tournaments using their game though.

Very little downtime, rock solid streaming. Would like player cams, but that's a very minor quibble. I'm loving the analysis screen thing, it's a bit awkward and they need to refine it, but it's a GREAT idea.

How is your reply about Broodwar as a game even relevant to the issue of piracy?
