See, Stephano understands that Protoss has to make Immortals in anticipation of a roach max, so he just switches into ling/infestor for the midgame. Protoss normally needs Storm for that, but it's impossible to get Templar tech up in time for the pre-Hive timing after that kind of opening, so it basically forces the Protoss into lategame without aggreesion, which is a death sentence on Ohana. Stephano didn't really do anything special, he just abused Protoss limitations in an extremely effective way. It actually makes me angry that basically every other Zerg would just mass roaches in this position and get rolled over by the immortal timing. | ||

Still, it isn't as bad as watching a PvT though. The problem with current balance is that we don't see the great ZvT MU as much as we usually did when P was weak. I actually want Protoss to be nerfed balancewise so we only will watch ZvT finals until they redesign Protoss for HotS. A balanced game will often result in a PvX match, and that is not how I want to spend my evening. | ||

I mean wasn't there some MLG where a korean terran had success with clock banshee/banshee play vs stephano, and then another korean terran did banshee play too since stephano seemed weak vs it? | ||
