Well luckily enough you don't need it as a Zerg unless you want to be Stephano level good.
Even Stephano has a limited amount of APM. A player may have a choice between microing some roaches and saving 3-4 of them, or making six drones and an overlord, reinforcing, adjusting rally points, dropping five tumors, and starting upgrades.
Some players opt for the former -- some players, like Ret, tend to opt for the latter.
Maybe but Stephano rarely wastes infestors by a moving and targets usually a lot smarter than the average zerg.

You can't even tell me Ret is doing anything amazing. Both ret and stephano haven't even done anything other than macro ling/mutas or roaches/infestors/broods...... The Protoss' has been trying everything and zergs just laughs it off.

Wow, that's very interesting ! In EU I'm guessing the SC2 server park is in French, and dunno about US. But in Korea it's in Seoul, I think, atleast Morrow and other players was saying it was 0 ping.
At anyrate, if it is like that. It could explain a little why EU & NA Zergs are doing fairly well, consider KR Zergs in GSL aren't doing so well against Toss. Well.. maybe.. interesting anyway.

Apart from lags which is definetly no the case what makes you believe that the ping is bad? The situations where Protoss got completly surrounded they were just not looking imo. I don't believe they would play for that much money with a ping of half a second and I'm sure the players would've complained already.
Yea I agree, many times Players just are busy doing something else and end up bungling everything when they are getting attacked and surrounded.
But If you have ever tried playing and just testing some micro inside the map ediotor where you will have 0 ping, you will be suprised beyond your belif how much ping there actually is online in SC2.
Thinking out load without having tested or anything: Ping definitely affects FF and stutter step M&M micro much more than anything Zerg has, Just having a 100-150ms can possible affect the overall DMG in M&M micro by something like 10-20% !!
Well I was just thinking loudly here.. since i'm not a Pro player it does not affect my life and I don't base any decisions on this. And I don't writing in a Live thead matters that much so if I say something wrong I don't care, so I just speaking my mind loudly to see what other people might say. Just amusing myself here while i'm wathcing :D
I think you forget that Toss has to look away to warp in units, which I really hate
Zerg needs to look away at every base to inject, even when he's maxed, it's a fair game.

also Zergs don't need to FF, and they don't really rely on micro as much, and aren't warp ins more frequent than injects?
