Oh well Byun will be a free win for Seed.

Why on earth would he be?

As far as I can tell, his TvP is one of the best.

As long as Seed is cheeseproof, he's fine. And he's

Pfftt. Byun will destroy him with a variety of builds, in short games and long.

You do realize the last time they met, byun won 2-1? It's literally up in the air, either can win.

Terran is the most versatile race so they have tools they can use to attain victory even when the metagame is against them. When Protoss or Zerg isn't doing well, you see them all out by the Ro8, with only 1-2 players in the Ro16. When Terran isn't doing well (or, at least, when you see heavy Terran balance whining), you still see them in the semis/winning GSLs.

Now if Naniwa or MC beats DRG Byun is the new GSL Champion.

His TvP is that good? I doubt it. I'll be rooting BIG TIME for Seed though. I don't want another Terran in the finals. I saw what happened last season.

What, that we had the best GSL finals ever? Yeah wouldn't want a repeat of that :p

And yes his TvP is stellar, it's basically the reason he got to the ro8 in the first place. He 2-0'd hero, and then 2-1'd Seed in his ro32 group. Then he beat Genius 2-1 in his ro16 group as well.

Don't you think that it's really sad that a code S player still doesn't split his banelings?

If stephano wasn't there, zergs would still be playing old idra muta ling bling style, with almost no hive... That says a lot about players like nestea.

Zergs do split their banelings, Nestea just wasn't playing particularly well.

And lol at Stephano.

Can you split banelings with patrol? I thought this was only possible with ranged attackers. I think to split banelings you have to split them manually.

I think Seed has very good chances to beat Byun but this should be very close. Very eager to see this.

DRG has to do some work to make the games against Naniwa look more one-sided than what we just saw.

Good for Naniwa, no pressure.

TERRAN CANT WIN ZERG OP BLAH BLAH BLAH

Nestea gets 3-0'd ...

The issue that players like Mvp and MKP brought up was that at equal skill levels T can't win.

Not saying I agree with all that, but Byun is currently a much better player than Nestea. download any recent replay pack. Nestea plays with 150 epm while Drg, Symbol, and even Byun play at 200+.

When Nestea goes to foreign tournaments he doesnt even do well and is outclassed by other korean zergs.

That assumes that who is the better player is an objective fact and not situational at all.

He always was imo. Only banned (by his team) from GSL for a long time.

iirc Coca was in Code S but Byun was out of the GSL when there was the incident in korean weekly. Kinda sad to see Coca struggle and Byun succeed now tbh, because all of this was Coca wanting to help Byun get into code A. Result? He loses code S status and sees Byun succeed months later. Poor Coca

Seems like we will never get 2 GSL champions battling each other in the finals. It's always going to be 1 previous champion vs 1 newcomer... And we know how that always ends.... With the exception of MMA vs MVP but we can kinda blame blizzcon for that.
