Byun vs Keen g3 <3 best mech game ever i think action wise.

Maybe for mech vs non mech but the best mech game ever was Mvp vs Top on Daybreak

totally agree.

Nah that felt like Mvp just playing with TOP, putting on a show for the fans. While Keen vs Byun was a brutal match where both players were trying their upmost to stay in the running for the title.

Well, Mvp vs TOP the most incredible thing was the mirror build orders imo, looked like they had figured out tvt on daybreak. Tho spectator wise Keen/Byun was a better game.

ST-Hack vs Creator on daybreak and Lure on Ohana. Ghost/Mech (like 3ghosts in the mid-early late game) TSL4Q9.

Oh please, he won the games against a clearly inferior opponent (Lure) who lost a ton of probes to hellions.

Creator beat his mech style handily.

with a 5tanks kill DT... and handily LOL. He outmacroed creator in mid/late game before getting one bad engagement ><

One bad engagement? More like he got one good engagement that almost allowed him to kill an expo and lost every other.

I don't know why I'm even arguing with someone who thinks a handful of games proves that mech is viable, when it looked so fragile even in those games.

not saying it's ultimately viable. but the fact you don't know shit about tvp is sure if you think creator was hanidly winning that game.

He had one moment where he looked weak because he allowed Hack to get a perfect engagement. He still ended up winning it with a huge bank, mech is garbage.

you know what. Bio is the same lategame. You need one perfect engagement and not fucking up. Where is the difference in lategame ? 5kills dt turned out the game, cause it killed the perfect positionning of hack, not the bank or everything else.

True I forgot how exactly mirrored their games were for so long that was very cool. But by the end it felt like Mvp dragged it out.

Well, "cheese" is a strat that does lose you the game 100% if it fails, and wins you the game 100% if it works out.

So.... :D

Im really enjoying Naama's games, not the highest level, but super entertaining unorthodox play.

I think Naama played this game as good as any other player ever plays standard TvP so far. Keeping his macro up, building the right units, being ahead in every aspect of the game and staying active with the small group of MMM for the whole game, denying scouts, killing units and pylons and microing it very well

Huge difference, there's time for reaction using bio, you can micro your way out of many situations where mech would be already dead, whilst if you look away for even one second, unsiege one too many tanks, or move your hellions a little bit to the side, or etc. your army gets blown to pieces in 2 sec, MMVG is hard to control, mech is way harder,
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

Maybe Naama should play """normally""" a bit more often, that was quite beautiful.
