Orc has pretty poor anti-magic, which makes this effective since you can disable large portions of the orc army. In addition, orc functions somewhat like protoss in that their units can be ineffective alone, but have terrific synergy, so ripping certain units out (in particular the blademaster hero, which is like 50% of the orc army DPS) is really effective. Faerie dragons are an anti-caster that can doe aoe damage to anything that spends mana. Human typically uses a pretty caster-heavy army. The problem is managing to use them without dying in the process, given that they're pretty expensive and fragile. Zepplins + ballistas is half reaver micro and half pickup+dropping to avoid taking damage Archers and AoWs a mirror matchup style that is about the most hilarious thing to play in the game. AoW is the night elf barracks equivalent, and (like most NE buildings) can uproot itself to move slowly and attack. NE mirrors will sometimes devolve into a micro war where both sides are using a hilariously slow and hard-to-kill tank with fragile archers behind them. Ballistas (long range splash siege units) also get involved. | ||
