Continuing to prove that he is the best in the world. Right behind Seed. The guy who went 1-1 with Taeja today and just won GSL. After Taeja was so freaking exhausted. Yep, right behind seed xd Well, Seed's GSL Champion pin was slowing him down
Sounds legit. I don't think Taeja is the best in the world, but this tourney had been definitly his tourney. And Seed hasn't been even close to him

Also to everyone who said that Taeja is the best player in the world at the moment, Seed just beat him.
But nonetheless, TL is one of the best and well coordinated and composed foreign team of all time.
And how did Taeja get Mvp? It should have been Seed. Oh well, pity trophy I guess. By that logic, someone on ladder soon will be the best player in the world, because they will beat Seed -___-. Yeah I don't think this guy understands logic, Flash is the best player ever in BW because he wins around 70% of the time. The 30% of the time that someone beats him does that make them the best player ever? It's the law of averages my friend he's bound to lose at some point, it still doesn't change the fact that he's an absolutely incredible player and likely the best in the world at this time. Also I think Taeja had more wins in this tournament than some teams did all together, how would he not get the mvp award?
If Taeja dominates longer than 1 month we can definitely call him the best player in the world. But for now lets just wait. He had an impressive ipl tac 3 run, won summer arena and asus. Let him get further than round of 8 in gsl(which he certainly will if he prepares) and you can call him the best

Seed's isn't quite as impressive (yes he is really good but still look at what Taeja did today... went 7-1 against IM 2 of those wins being against gsl champs).. there have been people who won GSLs who aren't best in the world ...
To be fair to Seed, he has played in less tournaments as well since Taeja goes to a lot more foreign events and also plays more matches in team leagues. Honestly, Seed beat Taeja and Hero. I think he would have likely AK Liquid if the player orders were different. Having said that, I still rank Taeja as #1 and Seed #2 right now.

EG should just pick him up, send him to every tournament imaginable, and he can be the 2012-2013 version of PuMa

IM (my all-time favorite team) just won IPL TAC 3, but everyone (including me) is talking about TaeJa!
TaeJa, you're absolutely incredible. Congratulations!

jjakji has fallen off though, he can barely stay in Code S, and didn't even make it straight into Code S from Code A he hasnt done ANY foreign events and hasnt even come CLOSE to winning anything else after winning vs leenock
also, at the time, leenock was a MUCH bigger star than jjakji. and jjakji is another aLive who has no personality in his play or personality in general that is shown to the public

Imagine if Mvp and MC were actually there, oh my.

taeja not good enough to carry TL

One question (I don't think it deserves it's own post in the strategy section).
What is the BO that seed used in the last game? Because at 7 he had blink almost completed, and around 7 or 8 stalkers near HerO's base. I think he blinked forward at around 7:20 or so?
Thanks.

Lol that was a funny rundown. I really am getting frustrated with Nestea's constant teamleague failure, it's as reliable as Taeja's winningness

Unfortunately, Taeja is not in OSL (didn't qualify), WCS (skipped qualifiers due to MLG Arena). So his next games in Korea will be WCG in group with Jjakji and MKP (has TSL as well).

Good games, deserved winners, brilliant Taeja/Seed.
Shambolic production including awful sound, periodic blackouts, cheap set, far far too much downtime/ads and an awful award ceremony, it reminded me of a prize ceremony in a local hall after winning a chess match - very amateurish

No. Maybe, but not necessarily. Some really great games, though! He was the only one to stop taeja, and hes the current gsl champ, so yeah best player in the world ATM.
the fact he is the reigning gsl champ and beat taeja..probably more accurate than you think.
