The time that tournament last and all these long breaks were quite annoying and I was watching it only because of Taeja incredible performance. I don't blame him for losing, the guy was tired. He did what no other could do. I'm not impressed by the other Liquid members though. It would be not fair to said "Team Liquid played well today", it's rather "Taeja played well", others just played.

But also, he's famously nervous. So why not let him play second? No pressure, sick micro, gutsy decisions. Yeesh.

Seriously, why send out Taeja before Hero? Seemed a bit strange.

Would you rather play Taeja or Hero against First? (keeping in mind there are two protosses left?)

Yeah that's a good point, although hindsight is 20/20 he does seem to end up in this situation quite often and is known for really not liking the pressure.

If Seed was sent to as many International tournaments as Taeja during the last month im sure he would match his success. Cant Really say Taeja is better than Seed because he won a bunch of tournaments that seed didnt even get the chance to participate in because he is not signed to a foreign team.

TL were screwed at that point, they were even more reliant on Taeja than normal, the problem for Hero is was that right now he's just TL's general 2nd best player, rather than being the vZ sniper he used to be, and he's not clutch enough to be Ace, so they had no place to use him best until the end, when they were just forced to put him out with no alternatives.

Damn that Seed, screws over TL by deciding he'd rather spend his time practicing for and winning Code S than earning 10 more points needed to qualify for TSL4, then closes them out in IPL TAC final.

If Hero stopped being so aggressive he could end up being really good at PvP. He was constantly throwing units away, and despite Seed having a better economy, Hero was able to ward off his army a few times.

Putting that aside, if Taeja defeated Seed and then got defeated himself, then Hero would have a good chance against whoever was left.

normally i would agree with TLs strat but honestly i would of put hero out first and sent taeja for a lay down. give him as long a rest as possible and instruct players to not leave, only lose by all their buildings dying.

no thanks to ipl he must of be exhausted. should of watched some tv or something for an hour or 2

Yeah I gotta say it is a shame he didnt make TSL 4. Hopefully Taeja can take TSL 4 for TL though, that would be pretty epic.

You mean TSL4 is not as important as teamleague or Code S?

Instead of watching TV, he was watching his teammates get owned by IM.
