Not FANTASTIC results but he puts up results. He's also very capable of grabbing a victory or two for TL. In GSTL, they opened up with Zenio both times, and although Zenio grabbed a victory for his team, it's best to save all three of your Korean players for the first round since IM is a ridiculous opponent. 2nd player - TaeJa TaeJa's momentum for IPL TAC is ridiculously insane. Liquid probably wanted TaeJa to grab them a lot of kills. But most important of all, Liquid wanted IM to send out snipers so they they could snipe the snipers. TaeJa getting an all kill however, probably put a grin on everyone's faces. Round 2: Opener - Sheth Yet another consistent player on Liquid's roster. He's like Ret. He's very capable of grabbing victories for TL and has put up results. 2nd player - Zenio So now Zenio comes out. To be quite honest, this was probably where HerO should've came out. He IS known for being Liquid's PvZ sniper so it would've made the most sense. But Liquid probably wanted to save HerO for after Zenio had lost. After all, it's not good if HerO gets sniped early. But Zenio won, which is good for TL, but also bad for TL since IM responded with Protosses. And HerO is NOT known for his PvP. 3rd player - Ret Ret's a good choice. Again, very capable player. Can't send out HerO, it's still a PvP. Unfortunately, Ret fell short. 4th player - TaeJa And now Liquid has a tough choice. Do you send out HerO against First? Nope, it's a PvP. True, TaeJa probably could have used more rest but Liquid needed victories. They need the momentum back on their side so they send out TaeJa. Now Liquid can only pray that TaeJa grabs multiple victories and that IM tries to snipe TaeJa so that they can snipe the sniper. Unfortunately for Liquid, IM responded with Protosses. So what happens? Liquid has no choice but to use HerO. TLO/HayprO/NonY can't do it. They're not good enough to handle Seed AND another IM player. Mainly because none of these guys have put up any results in Korea. TLO has made very little, HayprO and NonY have put up none. So, yes, you stick to your gut feeling and you send out HerO. HerO, who has made consistent results in foreign tournaments and made Ro4 of GSL for 2012 Season 1. All in all, sending out HerO would have been wiser since you mentioned nerves, but Liquid just never had the opportunity to. But like I said, I'm not TL's managers, this is just what I think Now that's what I call a post! Actually makes a lot of sense breaking it down like that, while I still disagree with a few of the justifications used. Anyway, Liquid fighting! Was an admirable effort

![]() Some constructive criticism for IPL (as someone who attended the live event): as everyone else said, huuge delays between games - at least have some sort of playlist rather than the repetitive advertisement beat? I swear, that thing looped a million times, and only after Taeja came out in the second bo9 did you guys actually play music other than from that damned commercial. Also - how about some sort of content/entertainment in between those huge delays (other than Doa and Catspajamas/Knocke trying to desperately stall for time with random bantering)? I dunno, highlight reels, replay analysis of the past game, fun bonus content like what NASL does, dance-offs between the two teams - do something! If anyone watching the stream noticed people in the background asleep, it's because of those godawful delays, which also really hurts a strong spirit from fans that you want.

Epic Trolling for something that is true ,LOL!!! TaeJa is the Micheal Jordan or LBJ of Team Liquid . IM just has a better team .

If anyone watching the stream noticed people in the background asleep, it's because of those godawful delays, which also really hurts a strong spirit from fans that you want. he planned to run into the main, kill buildings whilst picking of segments of seeds army as it trickles up from the ramp then finally pick up and leave. This was a desperation move because he was quite a bit behind. The decision imo, was a good one, he just botched execution. edit: now that i think more on it. I knew the reason why taeja lost his group of ghosts was because he scanned and sniped obs and thought another would be miles away. what i couldn't figure out was why he split his ghosts from his army. but taeja very almost pulled a genius move. i believe taeja wanted to still do damage in the main and pick up and leave, but he ALSO wanted to lure Seeds army into his main where taeja would then (possibly chain) NUKE the entrance causing seeds army to be stuck for a while whilst taeja drops his bio and kills seeds newly finished fifth. thus buying taeja more time. wow taeja, you tactical genius you.

But like I said, I'm not TL's managers, this is just what I think I thought it would have made more sense to use Hero before Taeja in that situation, with having Zenio available after Hero or Taeja depending on what happened after Hero. But the TL team of course knows much more about the players than I do. Also, Haypro was there and couldn't help to wonder what it would have been like if they used Haypro instead of Ret vs First. I have absolutely no idea how good Haypros ZvP is right now though. Would be fun to know the actual reasoning around the player picks.
