Standard ret game. Always takes really bad late game engagements and then gives away the game ><

Poor guy, hes so good but is decision making is really questionable sometimes.

When Ret plays and is ahead, the opponent has a better shot at beating him. True story.

Are you kidding me? It is time for ret to practice.

He is so good in every one of his games, but he chokes and loses.

He could be so good if he stopped choking.

No, I am not kidding you. He has done the same mistakes over and over and over, month after month after month. It is really shitty when your team depends on one player to do it all for them.

Just think about kiwikaki vs stephano game, I can't be the only one who's enjoying watching late game pvz.

It was interesting when it was rare and a kind of weird/creative play. When it became standard lategame it just got really boring to watch, at least for me.

yeah literally every late game pvz is exactly the same now. and to add to the lameness its down to one cast on one unit that decides a 25minute+ game

What about stargate transitions and prism harass? Also vortex decides the game only if Zerg makes terrible mistake of not splitting his brood lords.

zerg splitting brood lords happens as often as DT expand. I mean cmon when you try to seige a base you have to like have muta spread vs a thor, and even then a vortex can still hit a good amount of them or all of them depending on how many you have.

Zergs split their BL a lot now days. They're only really clumped when the Zerg is caught off guard or is being complacent because Brood Lord armies normally win any ways with minimal micro.

the problem is it shouldnt even come down to that, but zergs are forced to go broodlord because ultras are so shit vs protoss, and there is no other end game tech, and that is why zergs always do the same thing cant really switch...maybe very rarely but tier 1 and 2 units own ultras.

Ultras aren't shit, they're just harder to use. Symbol, TeamLiquid's bonjwa, used Ultralisks a lot against Protoss.

or the bls start atking, and so they just natually clump. How many times have you seen a protoss get a whifted vortex vs money vortex? Its pretty easy to get either the BLs or the infestors from the vortex.

Whiffed vortex/dead Mothership happens way more often than GG Vortexes. With Brood Lord's 9.5 range and because they're slow they don't clump when attacking if you've already spread them out.

Ultras are insanely situational and if not used in a perfect environment they are absolutely awful.

As long as you don't mass Ultralisks when you're opponent already has a Zealot Archon Templar composition you're good to go. Most ground units are 'absolutely awful' if you attack in bad positions. Brood Lords are air units so it's quite hard to find a really bad position for them, mostly just good positions.

Ret crushed his way to a very comfortable late game. Why so aggressive???

I would completely say the opposite way on pro games. The amount of times for this 2012 alone that I have seen a whiftfed/dead mothership that doesn't have enough energy or dies before even a vortex is like none.

ultras are shit exspecially when compared to BLs.
