Haha lol, one series doesn't mean anything...Stephano would destroy Naniwa. And since a lot of pro players say that Stephano has the best ZvP in the world bar DRG, your amateur statement doesn't have any relevance...

Naniwa isn't a skillful player, he does well in GSL because he plays more than Koreans.

so you're pretty much just randomly make shit up?

It means something. Why wouldn't it?

They are both really fucking good. Imo best 2 non Koreans. Would love to see them face off

Stephano would win, most certainly. Naniwa is a great player, but his PvZ is spotty, while Stephano's ZvP is on par with the best Korean zergs.

I don't even like Naniwa or Stephano but what you said doesn't really make sense.

He's saying that naniwa is bad because he works hard to improve.

No, what i said was that Naniwa isn't that good at mechanics, he only makes up for his inferior raw skill by playing exponentially more than other players, even some koreans...

Oh you better edited that out or else we have 4 pages of rage incoming.

There's no such a thing as raw skill. Everything that make you win is part of skill.

Actually he himself says he only plays as much as he does because Sase shouts at him if he doesnt play. He said yesterday if he lived on his own he would play like 10 games a day instead of like 40.

And what happens when you play a lot? Your mechanics get better. Hmm...

Well Naniwa has a winning record against him and is a Code S player.

No, he got a seed...Thorzain is a code S player too, and they played ages ago...Stephano has beaten the best PvZ'ers in the world before, and in a dominating fashion.

Like a seed means jackshit. DRG and MMA got a seed too. NaNi got a seed, made it to the Ro8 of the most prestigious tournament in the world and eventually got 2-1'd by the eventual winner of the entire event. Until they actually meet in this tournament or the GSL, i don't think there's anything to speculate here.

Uhhh... Stephano was invited to GSL Code S just the same as NaNi so this argument is rather silly.

I have no idea how this post didn't explode from all the paradoxes.

lol, yeah my thoughts exactly. I was trying to make sense out of it for a while but just got more confused as I was thinking about it. Better just to ignore.

3-1 vs MVP actualy considering it's a best of 5.

So what you're saying is that naniwa works hard to overcome his weaknesses and is therefore a worse player?

Intrinsically yeah...That's why he doesn't do that well in Lans(as opposed to his runs in GSL).

Preparing for GSL and a LAN like this are completely different and winning/doing well in a GSL is way more impressive. Which is why MVP destroyed Stephano when he played in Korea.
