Also if we counted 'each camera' that was not necessarily being streamed at the moment, we would have like 30 streams That analogy cuts both ways my friend.

I like what all 3 bring but it isn't analysis.
Exactly, as weird as Sheth/qxc combo was at times last time, it was much better than this one. Get InControl in here or something

Thanks for your support. Sorry to be a douche but, I just hate this argument. That's like saying the last day of the Premiership had 15 hours of content but it didn't because you can only watch one match. You're also counting FPVods which is just silly. Can I quadruple my previous bit of math to account that each match had on average 12 cameras at it which means the last day of the Premiership had... 180 hours of programming?
I don't really understand the point of FPVOD and counting that as entertainment value when you can just wait for the replays to be released and watch the FPV on a much deeper level.

Actually if every foreigner was up against a Korean, we might not have a single non-korean in the R3 of the loser bracket, so I don't understand your point.

I wish that I as a season pass holder was able to view all the arena events just 1 stream and perhaps on a lower quality or something this is kinda annoying. This is my problem with the PPV model MLG uses. Unless my weekend is free enough to see a good portion of the games it really isn't worth $20 to me. I don't want to spend $20 on a day's worth of games because I have stuff on Friday/Sunday when I could just spend the $20 on drinks with friends or seeing a movie or something. an MLG event is better than at least 95% of the movies hollywood makes and then asks you to spend ~$14 for at most 2.5 hours of entertainment. Even if you have 5 hours available for a weekend the 5 hours for $20 is a better deal than almost all of the movies made since 2000. There are a few all time classic movies that are incredible. But, you can download'em for nothin'. A UEFA Championship is free and offers the same amount of entertainment... I don't understand your point. Really? Euro 2012 and/or Champions league is FREE in the US? It sure ain't in Sweden. Really? Euro´s/World championships in football are always free in germany. It's really free in Germany? In Sweden it's bought by state TV, thus financed by everyone through taxes. UEFA and FIFA charges huge amounts for the rights to broadcast, I doubt there are many TV channels able to broadcast for free. Yes sure, it is the same situation, it is financed through taxes, but everyone with a TV has to pay those anyway, so there is no additional prize, which makes me consider them being free. But you´re right, technically everyone pays for them, just like everyone pays for the news, the weather and bad german series. You guys realize someone has to pay the money to UEFA, right? If it is state TV buying the event, we all pay it through taxes. If the state does not buy the broadcasting rights, we pay less in taxes but have to buy the event for our own money. In either case we're paying.
The taxes don´t change yearly, depending, whether there is a football-championship or not. If there is one, it gets bought, if there is none, ARD buys random shit and charges the same amout of money. So like I said, there is no additional prize.

I am counting FP view, 100%. That is a stream that you would not have unless we paid to convert it and broadcast it. You can't use the 12 cameras argument because your TV does not allow you to switch to each of those 12 cameras at any time, or watch them simultaneously. If you were able to do that, then I would certainly label those original programming. You can nit pick my comment, and I knew it would be, but I stand by it. Regardless, just say that we're only counting main, game play 1, and the 4 POVs for the 2 uncasted matches, that is 6 streams of original content, or 100+ hours of programming.
Errr, you can. Hell on Sky Interactive you could literally follow one player the entire game. I say could because I don't know if they still do it as it's a pretty dumb gimmick.
Yeah seems I'm right
From Wiki
Sky Sports Active is a term used by British TV channel, Sky Sports, to describe its interactive sports service. It was launched in April 1999, on Sky Sports 1. Presented by Richard Keys, the first football game that was interactive was Arsenal vs. Manchester United, and it was exclusive to Sky Digital viewers. It is still available by the push of the red button on the viewer's remote control. Viewers can then choose how they watch selected sporting events. They can select alternative camera angles, access various statistics, catch up with match highlights, choose between live matches and place bets through their TV.
Like dude, I'm watching. You have my money. I'm just saying thats a poor argument.

Financed through tax =! free. Swedish citizens pay shit loads of tax money to UEFA and FIFA for broadcasting rights. In France, private TV channel buy diffusion rights, it's free for viewers, payed by ads. Nothing to do with taxes, and 100% free for french football fans. And you don't pay monthly fee for getting TV service in your home? (not trying to argue, curious about the french case).
No, everyone who owns a TV must pay a tax each year (116 € if i remember well), but the money is just for state tv channels, not for private ones.
Buy the way, you're a part right because one of the channel who use to buy broadcasting rights is not free (Canal +). Others are free (TF1, M6).
