because this is on TV in korea
You do realize that GSL is also on TV in Korea right?
However that's different.
When GSL commercials are on we get storytime with tastosis, learn korean and random walls of text about teams/song choices.
This appears to be pretty much what goes to the tv rather then the GSL's modified version.
I'm gonna guess that it's because you are not watching the official channel from OGN, but rather you are watching someone streaming the Korean channel.

not great

high gm on na
so worse than EU low GM/high Masters and Korean LOW GM/high masters
The way TT1 said it, I think they're playing on NA and are high GM.
I wonder about that Fenrir fellow now. He was a Zerg and high NA GM and people didn't know who he was. Jaedong's handle?

Well, PvP is hard to judge and the By.Sun executed an all-in, so it's hard to judge his skill in a real game. Jaedong looked mechanically very solid but showed a severe lack of experience in his decision making.

68 drones is only about 3 more than Stephano uses to crush that attack, he didn't really overdrone. He got too much gas.
You can't judge whether he overdroned or not by only looking at the number of drones made. He was about 1 inject cycle behind in roach/ling.
68 drones is way too much, especially versus this very efficient version of the immortal all-in. Also because I suspect jaedong doesn't have perfect sc2 macro yet.
Wrong, 68 drones is close to perfect what you want on 3 base roach style.
I agree, drone count was ok. The army movements were the problem. Retreating into his main was a bad decision. He should have retreated to the third and then attacked the army from both sides but he never even destroyed the rocks from what i could see, so he got trapped and killed off easily.
His decision made sense from a BW-units viewpoint, but in SC2 it was just bad. Shows a lack of experience but otherwise his play was almost perfect.
It's not about how many drones Z has; it's about how many roach/ling Z DOESN"T have. To JD's credit, he knew it and hoped to stall with roaches, but Sun also knew that he could kill JD's main and JD's runby wasn't big enough.

Not to mention i don't even understand how they judge a player by relative standards until they seen them take on the other sc2 pros. All i saw was really good macro and resources kept very low for both players + fast reactions all over the map.

it doesnt matter if it isnt applicable to the game youre in.
