I suppose ignorance is bliss, but commentators so often miss crucial parts of the game, if they're not pointing out stuff and you can't find it for yourself, you miss so much of the beauty of this game. Because there's no immediate need to know. Ever notice how the observer scans over the base of each player every so often? As long as you can see the tech structures and count the production facilities, you can predict the gameplan of the player. As for the moments in which something is truly comes a surprise and the obs misses it, you'll find out soon enough when the units themselves show up on the field.

I don't know if they were as epic as BW comebacks, but they were still "How the hell? he was _dead_!" moments. Hahaha, to be fair SC2 comebacks are followed up by balance whining most of the time. But yeah I agree comebacks are quite possible in SC2

You just can't hold an HT+6ish zealot+ 12+ dragoon (stalker) push vs 3-4 stalkers + 9ish zealots in SC2. There have been great comebacks but in SC2 there's a much harder limit in how much micro will make a difference in a battle.

Better hope you have something to fill the time between games, and nowhere else to go. True that. They really can't do too much better though than this though, I think. I just don't think they should have scheduled ALL these matches for the same day...will go on for a ridiculous amount of time.

PvP in SC2 is also different because it minimizes defender advantage by making the rally distances for both sides even. In SC1 you can rely on reinforcements to defend because your units will just get there more quickly.
