wtf, he does so great in his first interview for that age. the whole world is like: "awwww so cute" 2 french guys come in (known for their perfect english): "omgggg so awkward"
this. Laughed way too much at the french part. Why do almost all swedes speak such good english? I have yet to hear a swede not knowing the basics.
Good education system
Trust me, the education in Sweden is not anything special, it is actually pretty slack-ish compared to many other countries in Europe. I guess we prioritize English though, since we are pretty good at it. Having all games/movies/shows in English helps too I guess.
I personally feel you Swedes are underestimating yourselfs, In most countries we seem to learn that Sweden(and Scandinavia) is the most welfaring country and that they have one of the best education systems and are apparently also the most happy people in the world. (least suicides probably?)
Yeah, that's exactly what he said, isn't it? A very laid-back slacker environment in schools make life seem a lot better, so no need to suicide :D
I thought you had a high suicide rate during the long winter nights or is that an urban myth?

The real show is tomorrow, come back then if you don't want to watch when the non-pros gets beaten by pros.

So because they have a break in games so players can rest between what could have been a hard group stage into a harder group stage you complain? Please get real.
oh please
there is a TWO HOUR BREAK scheduled from after the second lot of first round groups before the second round. that is plenty for those that are in the second set of first round groups, let alone those that have already played who don't have another game for another six hours. scheduling an hour for each bo3 is nuts, and having such a large break is equally nuts. there's multiple casters at the main stage and six other streams available. give me a break.
i mean it sucks that they've auto-gone for group stage > group stage > group stage > single elimination, which with having such short numbers makes the entire first round a joke, but once they've made that mistake they don't need to compound it by scheduling it so that you'd still have time to spare if every series looked like a goody best of three

For starters, if you're interviewing a 12 year old kid, that's understandably super nervous, don't ask either/or, or yes/no questions. It's going to make the kid look even more nervous and insecure, when in reality it's your fault.
Eh, keep in mind that this kid is 12 year old and from SWEDEN where english is not your first language. It's quite fucking obvious that he wouldn't get any proper answers if he asked questions that required more than 2 sentences to answer, since not only did he just lose, he also can't speak the language properly.

I agree on the welfare part, but one of the best education systems? LOL. Swedish teenagers are pretty far below average Remember reading something about that Sweden has the worst level of math knowledge in the whole EU.
I also got some personal experience with this; I went to a german elementary school for the first 9 years, and then switched to a swedish "high school". The shit we did in math at the swedish school was about 3 years behind ...

Think it's on a break, coming back on soon.
Anyway.. Anyone know if they will be playing all groupstages today and brackets tommorow, or just 128/64 today or something? Would be nice to see some game that actually matter today
Hopefully we get to see Hyun. Out of all the Koreans and top players, he's the most mysterious and would be the best choice to show even if it is him destroying some random Swede.

He has still played like over 9000 of those daily cups, so I reckon some of the players there knows his play style well.
