Taeja seems to either be on fire or not - so we'll see how that goes! Well I wouldn't say his TvZ hasn't been fantastic, but I wouldn't say it has at the same time. The only terran who has beaten him in the past month or two in a series has been MKP and we all know how crazy MKP's TvZ can be when he is on the ball and doesn't choke. Yeah he is dropping a few more games than usual, but I feel that might have just come from the heavy grind of tourneys. Winter Arena into Code S into Winter Champ, but as you said upsets can happen so we'll just have to see. edit;herp derp bad english

DRG just lost to MKP = "ZvT looking a bit average" =/ -- Anyway, why can't all four advance tonight? I like them all~ Hoping for DRG + Jjakji, they are my favourites of the group, but I'll still be sad to see any of these guys in Code A with the real risk that they might not be in Code S next season =(

Wtf? DRG/Taeja ahead of DRG/Jjakji in the who will advance poll? Good lord the Liquid hype takes over fast. To be fair, assuming DRG takes first winning both his sets... It will come down to TvTs... And I think even before Taeja was picked up by Liquid, I think most people probably had Taeja slightly above Jjajki in terms of TvT. Of course, the Liquid pickup probably skew that even more.

TaeJa 2-0 Jjakji Those two matches should be more or less save to bet, DongRaeGu is very good ZvT and while StC is no slouch either, he still lacks what it needs to take down DongRaeGu in a best of 3, at least in my opinion. The second match, TaeJa is very good in Terran vs Terran (>60% winrate) while Jjakji is good, but in most cases shouldn't win against TaeJa in a bo3. Obviously Jjakji is very good and this could go either way, but I'm still saying 2-0 TaeJa. DongRaeGu 1-2 TaeJa TaeJa is a Terran vs Zerg monster and DongRaeGu is a ZvT monster, this series will be amazing and it will be 2-1 either way, I'm going for 2-1 TaeJa here. Too bad I can't watch it live :-( Hoping to see at least live reports. TheStC 1-2 Jjakji Both good and solid players, guessing 2-1 for Jjakji, but anything could happen. Jjakji 0-2 DongRaeGu Once again DongRaeGu in his best match up, also he only had Terrans in his group so he is probably very prepared for ZvT, guessing 2-0 here but wouldn't be suprised if Jjakji wins a map, because he's very good. DongRaeGu should have the edge in this group, because he only had 1 match up to practice, yet he was on tour for quiet somet ime (MLG) and I don't know how that affects his play, hoping for good games. :-)! TaeJa/DRG are my picks.

Taeja broke his foot off in Jjakji's ass the last time they met. Taeja has good tvt from what I recall, Jjakji derps it sometimes. The stats reflect that as well. The probably have comparable TvZ as well, with a slight edge to Jjakji.

It's a joke, the TLPD team had to put in games from the weekly league(ESV) to get Taeja to the top...they did not do the same for all the other players.

Previously, it was Korean offline tournaments only (GSL, GSTL, WCG, etc). Now, it seems online events like ESV, KSL also count as well, not sure when this started exactly but definitely not AFTER Taeja was picked up. Maybe like 3-4 months ago. That is why we have players like FXOTear ranked #7 above Nestea and Genius.

DRG played a million and a half games on the KSL, only one game was reported to lower his ELO http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=sc2-korean&type=players&id=2627&part=games&league=standard
