This group is going to be really close. If TaeJa goes into ESV Korean Weekly God Mode I see no problem for him making it out of the group. DRG should be the obvious favorite, but who knows? Maybe he'll get upset. I think a lot is going to come down to the winner of TaeJa vs Jjakji. Normally, I'd say TaeJa is the favorite here, but with Jjakji's TvT improving and TaeJa's meh Code S results in his previous try, I think it's kind of a toss up. Both TaeJa and Jjakji present a legitimate opportunity to upset DRG, especially if they go for some of the newer maps that DRG might not have practiced on as much. They both have pretty sick TvZ. Idk.... there are so many possibilities. I didn't see some players who have been eliminated getting eliminated this quickly so there are always surprises in Code S, especially now that everyone is so good! Go TaeJa! Team Liquid and Terran fighting!! Take down DRG!

taeja jjakji DRG>TheSTC 2-0 Taeja>jjakji 2-1 (I know taeja's tvt is his weakpoint, but I remember seeing taeja 4-0 him on an ESV weekly...and that takes talent to 4-0 a gsl champion DRG>Taeja 2-1 jjakji>TheSTC 2-1 Taeja>jjakji 2-1 but i think thestc can actually pull something off, like defeating jjakji, though i dont think he can take down drg im hoping for: thestc>drg taeja>jjakji taeja>thestc drg>jjakji thestc>drg ![]()

There are 32 Code S players. Then there are 16 Code S players. Then there are 8 Code S players. Then there are 32 again. If you're playing in Code A, how can you be considered not "in" Code A? Or do you think a player can be both Code A and Code S? To me, that makes no sense.

Taeja < jjakki jjakki < DRG StC < Taeja Taeja > jjakki I think Taeja will lose against jjakki in the first set and then beat him in the latter. Representing a new team should cause some nerve issues (it certainly would for me at least) which might make him tilt in the his first series.

They then attempt to climb right back to Code S by either winning their Code A bracket or by winning in the Up and Downs to be assured a Code S salary again in the next season. So including them as Code S players is actually correct by way of salary alone.

Also, this spoiler conversation is starting to get hilarious. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_Global_StarCraft_II_League_Season_2#Prize_Pool It's been called "salary" for a while whenever it came up, which would be the minimum prize pool share for the initial round (was approx. $1400 USD for previous Code S GSLs, an assured "salary" without ever winning a single Code S game). As it looks now, a player going down in Ro32 Code S and then winning his Code A bracket to then right away return to Code S for the subsequent season could make ₩ 1,500,000 from Code S plus the ₩ 1,000,000 from Code A, which is more than reaching Ro16 Code S (₩ 2,000,000) and almost as much as reaching Ro8 Code S (₩ 3,000,000). So I guess a player can be both a Code S and Code A player in the same season now. But for clarity's sake I'd consider them Code S players temporarily playing in Code A until the end of the season.
