What do you not understand about it's a fucking business. I don't give a fuck about tech support because they're a business and as a business, it's their job to provide the best service possible to their customers. If they don't feel like providing good service or don't have the resources to, then it's the customers right to complain and call for improvement.

Ever heard of "the customer is always right"? If a waiter took forever to bring you your food would you give him a generous tip? No you wouldn't, unless you're the most generous/stupid person in the world.

"the customer is always right" to appease the customer, generally though if you come from a field of customer service.. they really aren't and tend to be dicks about it to boot (read: you are being a childish to really care that much about VODs being a little bit late for once)


I actually don't mind that the VODs are late. So no, I'm not being childish. I just find it ridiculous that someone is stupid enough to believe that it's excusable for a BUSINESS to lack in acceptable service just because they've provided good service in the past.

I guarantee you 100% that GOM and other business would agree completely with me. We pay them good money so we can get the best service they can provide. If they fail to do so, then they're not worth our money.


What you are doing is confusing stupidity with just being a reasonable, understanding person. I really don't understand such a hardline stance toward small slip-ups from a business in their services. There are other factors too. It's not a purely economic relationship. If the business has shown in the past to be attentive to their customer's needs with good PR, cultivating a good emotional relationship with their customers, then clearly, this business is going to (hopefully) find more understanding and forgiveness from their customers when a problem with service arises, as opposed to a business that treats its customers like shit. Gom, as far as I know, has treated its customers quite well, listening to feedback and interacting with the community on a friendly basis.

And if you truly think that a business isn't worth your money if you don't get the best service possible, then why are you still subscribing to the GSL? Gom usually gives good service, but sometimes they fall short, such as how the streams and site get overloaded during GSL finals, something which has happened many times in the past. Unless this is your first season, then I'm surprised you haven't dropped Gom altogether with such a high standard.

It says right on the videos page. "VODs are uploaded within 8 hours after LIVE." I'm pretty sure we are the only ones who have to pay for vods. Korean and Chinese viewers don't have to pay as far as I know. We should at least get quality service for our payment.

They don't always have to pay for the game either, and I believe Koreans/Chinese buy WoW once rather than pay monthly.

I really agree with HolyArrow. Well indeed, GOM has to do its job which is to provide video streaming and then vods to customers. But well if there is nothing written anywere saying when they should upload these vods, then it's how MasterKang say, "it's their job to provide the best service possible to their customers", nothing more, nothing less.

So now how if the best they can is actually already provided ? Uploading the vods fast almost every time and being a few hours late once every season or something might be just that, don't u think so ? So of course it's still up to the customer to complain about that, but it's also up to you not to pay for the service if you think it's not good enough.

I think there are not many guys not satisfied by the fact new vods can be late once every 20 times, being given customers actually had access to the stream and to older vods (in case they really had nothing else to do). But you seem to be a very demanding customer or you were too much used to a perfect service. Uploading vods within 20 hours is not even slow imo.

I'm just now realising... the only Zerg still possible in Ro16 are NesTea and Leenock (+ July who is already in)?

I really hope those two qualify, TvZ is the most exciting matchup and with only three Zerg, there won't be alot of that anyways :-/
