C'mon that engagement was stupid. Full army against nothing plus 5 vikings and the toss army got melted like butter.
Even the commentators said that was "strange", because it made no sense
Stupid from MC. His stalkers were attacking a missle turret, collosus hitting one unit per shot, zealots running up against FF, 6 vikings take out 4 collosus on their own.
He gets virtually no ugprades, and heavy marines. Mid game timings just don't work because toss doesn't have the DPS to deal with such a force when they are in a defensive position. If he had gone Rine/Rauder with double engi then Puma would have got ripped.

Yup, he didn't make a 3rd Nexus in any of those games did he 0_0
He had a 3rd nexus in game 1 and game 3. But the big difference between the two games is that he didn't seem like he wanted to utilize his 3rd in game 3 at all.
it was sarcasm.
Noted, mentioned it in my post. My post was directed at the guy you were being sarcastic too then lol.

I play Protoss and I can tell you it made a lot of sense.
Zealots suck at low space areas like natural expansions and ramps since they can't get their full dmg in. Stalkers really don't do much in PvT except for killing vikings. Because all ur zealots are noobing around MC's colossi were exposed and easily killed by vikings/marauders on top of the ramp.

I bet you and your practise partner are both at least Code A material right?

He is in a shitty position either way. Go back and lose a ton in his, then when he´s back T gets in medivacs and trollololols his way home. Go for it and hope for the best. Puma just played smarter, in that he forced his game on MC, and won the game on his terms.
Why did he even leave his base? Puma has shown time and time again that he loves big drops and is willing to gamble with that style. Shakuras is not a bad map for Protoss to grab 3 bases and go for 200/200 with HT/Collosus/Archon.
True dat - should watch the replay - but it seemed Puma baited him into that situation - not sure.

Yeah he's always seemed extremely weak once the game gets past those two bases. He just crumbles apart in the hands of good terrans. Maybe it's just me tho.
It's so weird, because lategame PvT is so good right now that just defending and getting to 200/200 is so hard to stop for Terran.
TvP late game is harder than PvT late game, but its perfectly easy for a T to beat P late game if they play it right

He attacked up a ramp, ran zealots into barracks/forcefields and lost his collossi because he had no stalkers to kill the vikings, there was nothing strange about this engagement, just the protoss messing up.
Stop posting shit.
My post wasnt very wise I agree, because I got mindfuck'd by that engagement that I thought was EZ for MC.
Clearly I was wrong and telling why helps instead of the "stop posting shit" part, which I don't care about at all.

He did, MC didn't want to attack, he wanted to just put some pressure and maybe deny a 3rd base. But when Puma dropped those 16 marines in his base he would have kiled half of MC's base before he would have gotten back. MC paniced and attacked up a ramp which never really works.

You don't understand. Given that situation, many protoss would have played better than MC. Of course MC being code S quality means hes better in much more situations. Kind of obvious how bad he played there.
