Good to see a Zerg who really makes an effort to think ahead and be able to engage perfectly (the timing on the flank was abit off but but it worked out very very well.)

The Turrets will draw the aggresion from the chargelots and thus give you 1 or 2 more salvae for free whlie kiting, not sure about that though. The main reasons for me would be detection(save scans for more minerals to get a more even bank) and the ability to fly around to an expansion and just put 3 or 4 turrets behind the mineral line. Would be not a big supply investment and is normally able to do a lot of damage. This is just theorycrafting though, because i have NO way to play SC2 right now :D Well the thing about lategame tvp is that you need scans anyway, because you need to know where the protoss army is, and scan is the only way to see where the high templars are so you can emp them. So you always have to save scans anyway. And if your opponent makes 1 cannon in every mineral line you can't harrass with turrets either. I mean your idea might be good, I don't know, I just don't see it work. Because ravens are really only good vs. stalkers and stalkers are not the problem in TvP lategame, you want to counter HTs and collossi mainly, and chargelots to some extent, ravens really dont help with that at all. And if you want to harrass your opponent lategame, then banshees would clearly be a better option than ravens anyway. For me personally, the biggest problem about ravens however is the fact that they are so slow and so easy to feedback, because for a raven to get in range for HSM you have to fly really close to your opponent's army. They are like a suicide squad that can be countered quite easily. I don't know, I don't feel like ravens will ever be popular in TvP, but hey, maybe at some point a korean terran will prove me wrong and show that ravens are actually the sickest unit in TvP, I doubt it, but I can't know for sure.

This is sad to watch, Dimaga is usually so active on the minimap and spotts everything. But losing drones like that is not typical.
