Yes clearly, Puma is a terrible player getting 3-0 and Polt is God of starcraft for beating Stephano. All is clear now, Stephano is a gimmicky player he is figured out, no way he is good. The finals were so one sided it makes GSL finals look exciting, the amount of sarcasm in this post is incredible !

Puma isnt a terrible player but there is a reason he doesnt play in the GSL/Korea.

Yes, likely because his international event schedule prevents him from living in Korea and staying long enough to trudge through Code A to eventually make Code S and then make significantly less than he would make in international events. Give me a break. This guy has beaten loads of Code S players. Lucky was in Code S this season and he just embarrassed him. You obviously know very little about the GSL and fetishize it like so many people on this site. I'm guessing you had no idea that Lucky was in Code S and think he's some n00b. Training for the GSL is a good idea. Actually playing in the GSL is not worth your time if it takes away from participating in foreign tournaments with comparable money and not comparable level of play.

Players like MC have managed to maintain Code S status while traveling to foreign events. That's no valid excuse for Puma's lack of Korean results.

ASUS ROG Assembly was a huge success, exellent players and games, pleasant casters, simple but very effective production, smooth streams and a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Polt is such a troll.

Don't get into any major finals of sc2 tournaments.

When i do, sweep my opponent 4-0 or 4-1.

Dude don't say sweep when it's not a sweep. And even at 4-1 it was a very close hard fought series. Honestly I have to re-watch these vods after lackluster day at MLG. One of the best TvZ's I've seen.

no one saying Puma is as good as MC dumbass.

Puma is always travelling to international tournaments of course he doesn't have as much time to practise. Many korean pros even said that they would not attend as many international events in the future because he was screwing up their practise.

Man in each of those games in the finals I was thinking stephano was playing almost perfect and was about to win and then transitions into a loss.

I can't believe how resilient Polt was ><

Stayed up til 6 am and couldn't keep my eyes open so had to watch the vods - pity the new layout on the frontpage has a nice POLT WINS ASUS ROG and a pic of him O well still watched the games and do not regret!

Only dumbass here is the one who can't understand phrases such as "Players like MC".

Maybe Puma should focus on practicing instead of trying to get easy money or getting handled by B-teamers whenever he tries to qualify for Code A.

Yeah, it's ridiculous that Puma is trying to make easy money instead of slaving through Code A making $1000 every few months.

No one's arguing Puma is in the top 10 of players, but he's definitely better than some current Code A/S players in my opinion (Code S at least at the start, not the Top 4). I bet he'd be in the Top 10 of money earned in the past 6 months though.

Thats right, making lots of money beating foreigners is financially the better option for people not good enough to be a top GSL player. Yes, great, Puma beat Lucky once. Puma also beat MC a couple of times too. So what? Everyone except Idra gets lucky and takes games of good players sometimes, but whenever Puma runs into a consistent number of Code S players he plays as below them.

Puma gets to choose his own priorities. If he wants to constantly travel to foreign tournaments and make relatively easy money, fine. That is the route Stephano does and no one should speak ill of him. The fact of the matter is Puma has never be able to qualify for Code A and loses to players far below the ranks of Code S. He also beats solid players in Code A and Code S. He is very inconsistent and if it is caused by going to foreign tournaments all the time, he could either keep doing it or stop to focus on his practice regimen.
