i like the ultras, but not out of mass muta with banelings that were so ineffective. Creep spread is good though so he can use queens for transfuse.

The GSL should not care about the Nationality.
They should simply invite the best players, no matter if foreign or not.

Sadly all the best players are at Korea.
Play your best

Stephano didn't do that well in Blizzard cup, but he could have a good change in GSL... maybe. In Blizzard cup he was against almost the very best, so it was very tough. With the right opponents Stephano could get pretty far.

Dun underestimate GSL(its the highest level tournament besides blizz). Stephano did beat DRG(did a dumb all-in) and Hero in Blizzard Cup but he lost to MC and MVP.

Beating Hero doesn't make you Code S caliber, it hardly makes you Code A caliber. Hero is good, but he hasn't really shown anything to make me think he's on that level.

Exactly.People overrating Stephano.

I think Stephano deserves a lot of the hype. His play just looks better than that shown by IdrA or HuK these days. It is crisper, more refined, more innovative - every game I watch from Stephano makes me appreciate it that much more. Even if Stephano doesn't win more I would still say that he's a better player - winning isn't always how you evaluate a player. Sometimes you just see something in them and the way they play.

Stephano is overrated because he plays so differently from other zergs it's difficult to judge his play against theres'. He's really good, but some of it is just stylistic differences. It's already been shown that when Koreans counter his style he gets destroyed like what happened at MLG.

Some people overrate him, some don't. I have no problem with people saying he's the best foreigner, though if he didn't surrender vs Kas we would have had a better picture, but to say he is Code S level is absurd. He's a low-mid Code A level player, which is better than every other foreigner on the planet.
Everyone is either delusional, a nihlilst, or dead from suicide.

Too bad for HuK. He micro'd well, but it seems like he wasn't as attentive today.

I thought idra was going down today because of his comments on ZvP, but I thought HuK was definitely getting back into code S. Bumblebee -> Avenge -> going straight into code S or up/downs seemed like a reasonable path.

I hope he gets some rest and practice and gets back into form. We need some foreigners in code S.

Sadly all the best players are at Korea.

That is what i want to say
And as long as this does not change, there is no need for a foreign player.

Pretty disappointing that EG had both of their players lose to players of this caliber.

Of this caliber? You mean players who actually managed to make it through the qualifiers and didn't get a free spot like Idra and Huk? Stop being such a blatent fanboy it's really annoying.

I'm sorry but comments like this are very boring. This "free spot" you're referring to changes nothing, both Idra and Huk have consistently proved that they can compete on an even footing with top tier Koreans at MLG and other events.

So has HerO, PuMa and a range of other foreigners, but that doesn't mean they belong in Code S.

I don't know if you were watching, but this was Code A friend. You're essentially shitting all over their achievements because of the way they were invited to Code S. They have proved their capabilities time and time again but people constantly fall into the same old cycle of insulting them for not "earning spots" via code B. As for current results and the whole undeserved argument, everybody has slumps. (See: Nestea). I would go on but it will fall on deaf ears, because apparently hating foreigners is in vogue.

Uhhh,i do agreed with you but did Nestea go through a slump? From what i know, he is the ONLY player that never drop down to Code A.Losing 1 or 2 games does not mean slumping.MVP or MC would have been a better example.Just saying.

Nestea dropped down to Code A last season during the ro16
