a lot of north americans and europeans play on the korean server btw. huk, naniwa, and even destiny, sase, etc etc. they are counted as foreigners still. Sen is a foreigner...Don't get your knickers in a knot, they're just being antagonistic and want to propagate the stupid foreigners can't succeed trope over and over again. Sen is only a foreigner when he loses apparently. From what I've seen in this thread Sen isn't a foreigner because "he isn't white" or "they all look alike".
Also Xigua and Macsed and foreigners too...

I'm sorry but comments like this are very boring. This "free spot" you're referring to changes nothing, both Idra and Huk have consistently proved that they can compete on an even footing with top tier Koreans at MLG and other events. So has HerO, PuMa and a range of other foreigners, but that doesn't mean they belong in Code S. I don't know if you were watching, but this was Code A friend. You're essentially shitting all over their achievements because of the way they were invited to Code S. They have proved their capabilities time and time again but people constantly fall into the same old cycle of insulting them for not "earning spots" via code B. As for current results and the whole undeserved argument, everybody has slumps. (See: Nestea). I would go on but it will fall on deaf ears, because apparently hating foreigners is in vogue. Uhhh,i do agreed with you but did Nestea go through a slump? From what i know, he is the ONLY player that never drop down to Code A.Losing 1 or 2 games does not mean slumping.MVP or MC would have been a better example.Just saying. Nestea dropped down to Code A last season during the ro16 then went to Code S right after that
Leenock dropped out of GSL, got back into Code A then Code S and then came in 2nd place.
Also, with the new GSL format its a lot harder not to fall out of Code S and more difficult to also stay in Code A unfortunately.
Idra and Huk didn't play their best today thats all. Huk played well in game 1, got stuck with a not so good map which made it hard for him to play his style game 2, and then he made a poor read game 3 and got roach all inned.

How is Seed vs Monster going? I am unable to watch it, since GOMstreamer is not working for secondary streams.

huk did not get a free spot
he came to korea and went from code A to up and down, kicked some players and managed to stay in code S beating MMA 2-0 the next season, and going to the final tree loosing to Mc or MVP... he went to code A after loosing leenock. really a code S player when he play correctly, and won dreamhack and MLG orlando.
idra on the other hand won nothing during the last 12 month except an empty iem. he is overrated cause best american player. many US people WANT to see him cause he use to be a top 5 world zerg. he is now a top US player and that's it i hope he will be back to the top but he did not deserve a code S spot at all but for now he is boring me and he really play so bad making the match where he play in gsl the one when i go eat and turn off the stream
HuK did get a free Code A spot though. Agreed with most of the other points.

Well people are really stupid and very prejusticed sometimes when it comes to asians...
Everything that is not korean is foreigner, thats how it has always been and thats how it will always be (slasher tried to change it btw since he didn't like the term, we all know how that ended for him ).
Idra played like a code b player today and rightfully dropped into code b, even though his play in code s was a lot better. Huk played really well game 1, got a shitty map that shouldn't even be in the pool by now in game 2 and played way too greedy after making a terrible read in game 3.

Kinda awkward how GOM keep giving foreigners opportunities to play in GSL but foreigners keep showing they're just not good enough.

Seed won 2-0.

huk did not get a free spot
This is half true. Huk did get a free Code A spot but he also won and earned his way to code S

Huk's gotten to the Ro8 in Code S and stayed in Code S for multiple seasons. Sen just advanced to the Ro32 and the Up and Downs.

That doesn't really count, under this new system you can drop into Code A but get back to Code S within the same season. Nestea has never been to Code A for a full season.

I only catch the last game of Huk. Was very surprised that Huk played too greedy there. I watch Mc's stream and everytime he played against Bumbblebee, he just cheesed and win. If not, he blindly coutered cheesed and win. .......
