In Blizzard cup he was against almost the very best, so it was very tough. With the right opponents Stephano could get pretty far. Dun underestimate GSL(its the highest level tournament besides blizz). Stephano did beat DRG(did a dumb all-in) and Hero in Blizzard Cup but he lost to MC and MVP. Beating Hero doesn't make you Code S caliber, it hardly makes you Code A caliber. Hero is good, but he hasn't really shown anything to make me think he's on that level. Exactly.People overrating Stephano.
I think Stephano deserves a lot of the hype. His play just looks better than that shown by IdrA and HuK these days. It is crisper, more refined, more innovative - every game I watch from Stephano makes me appreciate it that much more. Even if Stephano doesn't win more I would still say that he's a better player - winning isn't always how you evaluate a player. Sometimes you just see something in them and the way they play.

Wow... such a condescending comment. I can understand the sentiment but the way you phrase it makes you come across as a supremely giant turd.

Shows how hard the competition has gotten or how low the foreigner standard is now. :/ Sen impressed me in ZvZ, we still got morrow left to morrow going to win vs maru and probably lose vs happy. Idk, I agree Morrow should beat maru but he did do very well against Happy during the TAC. Sure he didn't pull off the win but he did VERY well. Given the amount of training he has I don't see him winning out of the realm of possibility I hate to say it, but Happy's TvZ record speaks for itself Then again, it's there because he does the most generic TvZ builds ever, except for his innovation through cheese I'm not saying he's the favorite, because that's obviously happy. I just think its not outside the realm of possibility for morrow to 2-1 him I agree. I fancy Morrow's chances, especially when he plays both sides of this match-up. I hope at least, I like Morrow Morrow is going to get destroyed hardcore.... Maru got 2-0ed by FruitDealer...think Morrow has a great chance He said he'd get destroyed against IMHappy. Read what you reply to :s Hes talking about Maruprime not Happy which people above him were talking about.. Read what you reply to :s
how do you know that he was talking anout maru?

Of this caliber? You mean players who actually managed to make it through the qualifiers and didn't get a free spot like Idra and Huk? Stop being such a blatent fanboy it's really annoying. I'm sorry but comments like this are very boring. This "free spot" you're referring to changes nothing, both Idra and Huk have consistently proved that they can compete on an even footing with top tier Koreans at MLG and other events. So has HerO, PuMa and a range of other foreigners, but that doesn't mean they belong in Code S. I don't know if you were watching, but this was Code A friend. You're essentially shitting all over their achievements because of the way they were invited to Code S. They have proved their capabilities time and time again but people constantly fall into the same old cycle of insulting them for not "earning spots" via code B. As for current results and the whole undeserved argument, everybody has slumps. (See: Nestea). I would go on but it will fall on deaf ears, because apparently hating foreigners is in vogue. I'm not arguing about whether they deserved their spots or not, but that they "proved" themselves via MLG/other events. Obviously, Idra/HuK are obviously only ones that have actually showed that they can compete in Code S (and I believe Idra deserves the seed), but to say that they belong in Code S because they have beaten Koreans at foreign/online events is preposterous.
I apologise for directing those comments towards you, my reply was more intended for the gentleman a few posts before with the free spot remark.
I'm not trying to say they belong in Code S, I'm just trying to find some rationalization in the people who go around spouting "Suk" and whatnot, making ridiculous comments about how terrible they are, this was a long time coming etc. It's just shitting on players for the sake of it. The irrational hatred is just as bad as fanboyism and it's hilariously ironic that they don't realise it.
