Yeah, not saying it would've made him that much more successful but there were just a lot of problems with what he did and I feel he didn't play that to whatever potential advantage it could've had sitting on 3 base and attacking an entrenched terran position from one angle.

He had a much smarter thing to do with this strat in the first place : send overlords to drop banes to each and every mineral line while doing the first attack.
Anyways, I don't think that strat would've worked against any code A/S terran tbh, MVP didn't even do that much, he simply stimmed his marines and ran away while all the banes killed themselves by hitting tanks.

You wouldn't need to counter. Just use the greed to transition into a super army, either ling/infestor/ultra or infestor/broodlord/corruptor. You have so much gas to spare it could actually work.

Considering how everyone is always asking about the songs in GSL, I think it's pretty cool that they identify some in the breaks. Also, you can feel the energy that wants to knock and break through the existing mould and boundary.
