Agreed but I think people might say DRG vs Genius simply because they believe anything that Tastosis say and Tasteless always overhypes the shit out of stuff("THIS IS THE BEST FINALS EVER, THIS IS THE BEST PVZ EVER, THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER")

Leenock vs Jjakji was still the most fun series overall for me, this series had alot of meh games which ended up in the epic shakuras game
|
I've rewatched game 7 countless times, get chills every time.
|
Shakuras game was and is still the most incredible game in SC2 history imo.
Also I much prefered MMA back in 2011, when he started, where MVPs winning streak ended, and was considered the new dominant guy. MMA vs DRG wasnt a real rivalry tho (at least not like MKP vs DRG)
this series remains unique, and should be shown whenever someone wants to kind of promote SC2.

I'll never forget that moment, NEVER.

That was indeed a fantastic finals and such a cool moment.
I still haven't watched this series yet. How much would it cost me to buy the minimum package in order to do so?

Actually, I'd say it's more of a rivalry than MKP vs DRG (at least until recently). MKP vs DRG was mostly polarized with MKP first stomping DRG in AoL, then there was a period where DRG just shit all over MKP, then MKP started to beat DRG at MLG. Now DRG finally won against him again.
MMA and DRG, however, have been a tad more evenly matched. Both were originally bound for Slayers, but DRG broke off and went with MvP. Later on, they both finally broke out in the GSTL as the aces of their respective teams. MMA first beat DRG to secure Slayers 2nd championship against MvP. Later on, DRG killed the majority of slayers including MMA in the next gstl season.
MMA knocked DRG out at MLG Anaheim, but then DRG got payback at Providence. MMA entered code S through MLG Anaheim, DRG entered the next season through Raleigh. MMA wins Blizzard cup, DRG wins code S next season. MMA has best TvZ, DRG probably still has best ZvT. Both eventually rose to be the best of their race for a period. Both went out in the ro32 this season. Hell, even this series itself reflects there encounters and results. MMA starts off 3-0, DRG defiantly comes back answering with a 3-0 of his own. The tie-breaker being a final game that was just barellllly won by MMA. Given all of this, it just feels like the much better rivalry to me, due to being more even and ongoing for months.

My dumb ass fell asleep in the first few minutes of game #7 and I've regretted it since. T_T

I missed this entire series, I couldn't watch at the time. Now it's known as one of the most epic series' in sc2 history, and for some reason, I can't bring myself to watch the games. Not sure if it's because I know the outcome, or I don't think I'll appreciate it as much as I should given how long it's been.
Actually, I think it's because I'm mad at myself for missing such epic games live.

This one had a better storyline behind it, and perhaps a more "epic conclusion"
However, I still maintain that Jjakji vs Leenock Game 1 is one of the most beautiful games of Starcraft 2 ever played.

MC Vs. Puma was better. They played at a much higher level (relatively, obv)

I loved, loved, loved the game on belshir and jjakji stimming out marines and hitting them with his own tanks to find baneling mines after his orbitals got picked off. Apparently stuff like that happened in BW but I'd never known and it blew my mind I was just punching the wall and stuff omg.

It was a good final, but I think its a bit overhyped. I liked Genius vs DRG better.

Jjajki vs Leenock was a lot better than this.
Brb watching the taldarim game again :D

These finals were alright, but a few games were really mediocre. + Show Spoiler +Games 1 and 3 were pretty bad imo. In game 1 DRG had the game won but decided to not get detection after seeing a banshee. In game 3 DRG pretty much died to like 2 hellions.
