1 gate stargate into exp dies easily to DRG's build. He had ling speed. Had he scouted such a greedy exp, he could just go and kill MC.

Really disappointing last games from MC. The carrier build was cool to see and all, but I would have rather him play to win. The last game he seemed like he was back to his slump days. I really thought you had this one MC. Just goes to show you can't mess around with the likes of DRG.

Pretty good series but kind of weird. DRG looked surprisingly weak to two-base 7-gates, although I guess he did get tricked in game 3 and mis-scouted in game 2.
Game 1 was really good play by DRG, game 5 was pretty clean play too. I guess people won't be trying stargate openings against him in the future.
Game 4... people are making a big deal about the carriers but MC was in a pretty good position after the first attack. He had four bases, which as a protoss is pretty strong no matter how good the zerg's economy is. I don't understand the decision to go 2-robo colossus rather than stalker/HT archon against a massive anti-air army. Obviously he has his reasons but on the surface it doesn't seem like a good decision.

I prefer DRG in the final. He'll produce better games. MVP has shown time and time again he'll crush MC. MMA has pretty terrible TvP, so it would be close, but probably produce a lot of cheesy games. MC always cheeses on Bel'shir against Terran for example.

It' s called map balance. Dual sight is a terrible map for P because defending your third, natural and main is really hard. Crossfire is a terrible map because getting a third is hard for anyone, which hurts Protoss the most. On top of that, getting an FFE going is extremely hard, which already puts the Protoss behind if he doesn't do any damage with it.
Kind of like doing Tal Darim Altar in PvP, everyone knows it will be revolving around the 4gate metagame, yet people keep playing it. In the current balance tournaments just need to rule out certain maps in certain match ups, or at the least put the most balanced map for the last game. Because if you are pidgeon holed into strategies because of the map, a good opponent will always read that and respond with the correct thing and easily win.
There are plenty of good maps, they just decided to put a shitty map up for last.

MC proved in set 5 you can't play standard vs zerg or you just get overwhelmed by zerg's macro.. but zergs QQ everytime they get harassed early game and complain it's a cheese lol

He wins alot of Base races, to bad for you you only ever seen 1. But that says more about you then Grubby, and still makes it possible to win a base race for protoss.

Anyone else having problems with the twitch stream cutting off and not working consistently?
I'm watching on both gom viewer and twitch, twitch is actually 1 minute ahead when it's running, but it's having problems today.
Yesterday they also had some weird blinking green line, my OCDness could not tolerate it.
