I think this 4 player lineup + Nestea is an accurate representation of Starcraft2 in 2011.
MC Code S champ x1 numerous other foreign tournaments I daresay he's the player with most fans, and most anti-fans, of all Korean players. In short, everyone cares about him, in one way or another. THE player of choice to make something look broken. This guy cannot win a single match without some outcry from viewers. Forcefields, 4-gate, Stargate openings, midgame gateway composition, sentry drops, protoss deathball and protoss in general have been considered OP shortly after his games.
DongRaeGu GSTL champ x1 GSTL MVP x1 The Korean player with the best english, and most likeable personality. Only loses to MC in terms of foreign tournament invites (I think) Only player that didn't have a lot of success in GSL, but his GSTL performance more than makes up for it.
MVP Code S champ x2 World Tournament champ MLG champ x1 WCG champ With or without this Blizzard Cup title, the best player of 2011 in many viewers' eyes.
MMA Code S champ x1 GSTL champ x2 GSTL MVP x2 MLG champ x1 As the winner of the first MLG featuring Koreans in MLG Columbus, and the only GSL tournament final held outside of Korea in GSL code S October, I think it's safe to say that MMA is the most beloved player by foreigners. I have never seen an MMA anti-fan in TL or Reddit, and that says a lot. mc is 2 time gsl champ
MVP still has AOL, Blizzcon though. Both pretty important achievements.

I almost forget protoss is capable of making it into a Gsl final. But with Mc, I have hope now.

its nice to see MC getting back from his slump or whatever one were to call it.. i think he's got it against DRG. MMA vs MVP too close to call. im hoping for a PvT final. its been so long..

I think it's quite funny how cyclic the Way of the Big 3 has become. First MC had a fall from grace and looked inconsistent. Now, he's come back up and looks really strong while Nestea is the one looking a bit less consistent and more mortal.

PvT can result in amazing finals, its possible.
Why do you guys think PvT can not produce good final. It definitely can. It depends on who are playing in the final and with Mc and Mvp, why doubt it ??

I'm rooting for MMA. I dont know why, whenever I see him I automatically root for him, no matter who he's against.

There were a couple months where he was basically irrelevant, then he kicked it into boss mode in August.

There have been a couple amazing PvT finals, but in general I really don't like PvT, it's my least favourite non-mirror matchup. I still think MC vs MVP will bring something amazing out if it happens though.

Pretty sure Polt has the best English.

This man speaks the truth. But in general GSL play, PvT resorts in general to 1 or 2 base timings, rarely much more.

I think there is one thing we can learn from this tournament. To succeed at SC2, you name must be an acronym... MC, DRG, MMA, MVP

MC VS MVP GOGO
i love all 4 players, but i really want to see a clash of the gods of their races duke it out in a bo7.
GOOGOGO
|
The round of 4 is made up by 4 of my absolute favorite players. Thank you God.
|
Any combination of these 4 will be better than any finals we've ever seen at GSL!

|
Hoping for MVP vs DRG finals, but really, the finals will be awesome regardless of outcome!

Because MVP's staple winning build in TvP is a 1base Marine/Tank all-in, and MVP for whatever reason struggles greatly to deal with MC's 2base all-ins.
Basically, pessimists are imagining a final in which the winner is the one who all-ins first and most often.
Personally, I'm optimistic. If they both prepare for each other, we could see a repeat of NASL 1.
Of course, they both have to get there first. MMA and DRG are both formidable opponents on a winning streak against MVP and MC respectively.
