It's just that the players tonite are not really top-class players. I would've put Top and Bomber in the top-class category but they're in a slump atm.

I know that choya has really big nerve issues and he was talking to himslef during his games in GSL to reassure himslef, so he could be playing much better at home too

Imagine if he didn't have to waste lings on failed attacks and can use them to defend properly. Not outdated as much as being bad on that particular map. Ling runbys could have been an effective maneuver if he had defended the war prism harass at the back natural and pulled it out to the late game, where Choya's 4th and 5th would be vulnerable. If he doesn't fix his control problems he will fall out of the GSL entirely. Bomber's never been the best at TvZ either.

Maybe he got over-confident? - Set2 was not a good game at all. - Set3 featured many mistakes. The WP drop did alot of damage because Losira was too fond of ling runbys. Also, Choya had a failed FF at the ramp. Massive supply block at 118. I didn't think it was a good game at all.

He didn't need to be overly aggressive in the early game, and can use them with great effect in the lategame, when lings because very expandable. A bit harsh on TOP but alot of truth in it - he had good macro but I never did see him as a great player. I also agree on Bomber being relatively weak at TvZ but he's also definitely in a slump - which would magnify his weaknesses even more.

I only saw last 2 games, in game 3 he did a WP sentry drop which killed drones and the hatch(Losira relying only on zerglings and runbyes -_-) while having taken his third. Was pretty much over from there as he could take 5 bases without issues while teching heavy

I've noticed several micro mistakes in Losira's GSL matches as well, and I can't help but wonder if he's been getting lazy in that department. You can see it in all of TOP's games, but his TvP matches and two Ro4 series against Polt make it especially noticeable. TvP is the matchup where lack of army micro gets most heavily punished. True. It will take him a while to get back in form. I know Choya's games don't seem especially good when you're expecting him to play like the very top Koreans, but compared to what he used to do I'd pick new Choya over old Choya any day. Old Choya had great build orders and good execution, but he was like a child when it came to making in-game decisions.
