aLive begins by proxy building a supply depot/barracks in Leenock's base

Leenock scouts aLive's base and finds out there is nothing there

Leenock scouts his main base and sees aLive's strategy

Bunker going up for aLive but Leenock is fully aware of aLive's intentions

Lings on the way for Leenock

aLive now lifts his barracks and decides to give up on the rush

10 - 15 minutes
Leenock has his expo and is far ahead of aLive

aLive trying to expand now, trying to catch up anyway possible
aLive increasing # of barracks

Leenock drones up hard, knowing aLive can't do jack

Leenock hits roach warren

aLive hits stim
Barracks # up to 4 now
aLive hits a hellion from his fac

Leenock's ling dies to aLive's hellion

aLive's hellion dies to Leenock's speedlings

Leenock now has roaches out on the map

aLive's scvs see Leenock moving out
aLive's scv scouts Leenocks banelings morphing before the scv dies

Leenock moves in, banelings bust aLive's bunker

Leenock's roaches doing some massive dmg

aLive is trying to build another bunker and trying to survive

Leenock backs off like 2 inches and starts morphing banes right in front of aLive's base

aLive retreats all scvs from his expo

Leenock continues to brutually punish aLive for his failed rush

aLive drives out Leenock from his expo but he is SIGNIFICANTLY behind

Leenock goes for yet another attack with his lings
Leenock throwing away his units but he can afford to

aLive now upping seige
aLive snipes an overlord of Leenock's that was scouting him

Leenock pushes in again with a big number of lings

aLive's wonderful defending, forces Leenock to once again back off.

aLive trying to do put on some kind of pressure with 8 marines and a medivac

aLive now trying to establish map control by moving out

Leenock tries to surround aLive's army

aLive successfully blocks Leenock's attack and forces Leenock to cancel his expansion

15 - 20 minutes

aLive now seems to have caught up

Leenock is forced to defend here and there because of aLive's drops

aLive trying to make sure Leenock doesn't get far ahead by keeping Leenock at 2 bases

Mutas out for Leenock

aLive once again forces Leenock to cancel his expansion

Leenock in a bit of trouble, he's been contained at 2 bases for 17 minutes now

aLive is constantly macroing and can easily take on Leenock's army

Leenock gets rid of the army that was preventing him from taking a third with a beautiful flank of mutas/lings

aLive keeps attempting drops to throw off Leenock's vibe
aLive's drop gets prevented as mutas take down his medivac
aLive kills Leenock's burrowed banelings by scanning while moving out

Leenock's muta/ling composition trying to take on aLive's marine/tank composition
Leencok establishes his 3rd finally

20 - 25 minutes
Leenock has beautiful creep spread to keep Terran from moving out freely
Leenock now has full map control with his mutas

aLive's army in the center of the map, near the top left watch tower
aLive backs off seeing Leenock's huge army

Leenock takes out some of aLive's marines with even more burrowed banelings

aLive drops Leenock's third and forces Leenock to retreat his drones

Leenock takes out aLive's drop

but the drop has given aLive enough time to establish his own third

Leenock attacks aLive's base
Leenock takes out like 20 something marines but loses 10 something mutas

DoA/Khaldor believe the trade was not worth it on Leenock's part

Leenock's getting upgrades for his infestors
Leenock has the map but aLive playing defensively and not caring

aLive trying to make sure his 3rd doesn't go down

Leenock taking a 5th base

aLive ONCE AGAIN does a drop and forces Leenock to try to defend his 5th
aLive snipes the 5th before mutas clear the army out

25 - 30 minutes
Leenock continuing to pressure aLive with his mutas

aLive defends with marines
aLive scans ahead of him to try to take out burrowed banelings but scans too far ahead
As aLive is retreating leenock destroys about 10 marines with burrowed banelings that aLive failed to scan earlier

Leenock takes out 3 tanks with his mutas
Leenock now getting really ahead
His army is a lot stronger than aLive's

Leenock morphing 8 broodlords

30 - 35 minutes

Leenock has his army in the middle
aLive has his army in the middle

seems like a battle is about to ensue

aLive forced to back off after his army keeps gettign sniped by broodlords

Leenock just rolls in with banelings, does excellent fungals and takes game 1.

Leenock 1 - 0 aLive

I wish other zergs would learn how ridiculously good baneling landmines are. For an investment of 100/50, you can wipe out a dozen marines. It also forces terran to either scan every step of the way when pushing or else build a raven. Thing is though, most terrans I've seen are content to scan their way across every map.

Ok, next stats are coming out now, because I need to get to work

Crossfire!

84-86 in favour of Zerg (nice and close Doa!) Leenock is 6-5 in this map in the GSL, while Alive is 3-3.

Even though he's 6-5, against Terran on Crossfire, Leenock is actually 4-1, including his only win vs Alive. His single loss? MarineKing in August

Oh no no no no no. That may have been the case here as Leenock was super ahead but 99% of the time broodlords need babying. You have to protect them from vickings and marines stim in with infestors. Need to keep them alive with queens. And need to keep all of that ground army support out of the tank range. Do not make the mistake of thinking controlling broodlord armies is easy.

Exactly!! And you cant just place them on creep cuz most terrans scan....you need to place them in random spots and try bait terran over them...but can be so cost effective
