Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

Wasn't there money on the line? Only 750 more and like I said earlier he doesn't need the money and he only cares about winning. The difference between 1 spot means very little to him. $750 is more money than he's won at most MLG events this season. And it's irrelevant because players like him and huk make most of their money off their contracts. It is getting paid $750 to win 2 games. There really is no excuse to not play that - I don't care who you are. No pro player is at the point where they should turn that down. Seems that should be a decision left to him and his management. yeah this is kind of ridiculous, he should be able to freely pick which matches he decide to play -_- would have loved to see haypro vs idra though, if they would have even casted it They never cast the consolation matches... so I have no idea why everyone is up in arms. If he doesn't want to potentially win the money leave him alone cause it doesn't affect what you get to see at all. I think everyone is missing the point. Idra is essentially saying 30-40 minutes isn't worth $750 dollars to him. It's his job to play video games. He signed up for MLG Providence, is scheduled to play and is choosing not to. That's pretty spoiled if you ask me. But I guess it's not a surprise, considering he asks for $300+ per hour of coaching. He's free to play or not play in whatever games his team will let him, but that doesn't mean refusing to play isn't ungrateful/spoiled. Does he really charge $ 300 per hour or are you just exagerating? he's not exaggerating : go to www.gosucoaching.com and search for idra's page. (would link it but it doesnt load for me for some reason)

So glad MLG is being smart and having Tastosis cast the finals. I hate it when other tournaments don't use the best casters for the finals. Cuts into how epic their own tournament is going to be.

Rooting for Leenock. Come on mini Tushin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so proud of my Leenocktopus. I said he'd do amazing this tournament!

No, he didn't. Both actually had different openings.

I agree, and I'd like to see Naniwa in Code S more than DRG who has a good chance to go up from Code A anyway. I wouldn't say easy exactly, DRG did take down MC... He does have to play better than he did in winners finals though.

If Leenock wins, they play a best of 3 series. If Naniwa wins, he wins the championship. If Leenock wins the best of 3, it is extended to a best of 7 (taking the first best of 3 into account), winner take all. mlg is a joke. so every single mlg the finals are going to be unbalanced because whoever came from the winner bracket has a way easier chance. rofl He doesn't know what he's talking about. It's two separate BO3's if Leenock wins No it is not. http://pro.majorleaguegaming.com/competitions/25#event_54_competition_format What? You linked something that says exactly if Leenock is in the finals there are 2 BO3s. "If the Player who came from the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket wins the initial Match, the Match will expand to a Best of 7, include the initial Match, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Player beat the Championship Bracket Winners Bracket Player 2 Games to 0 in the initial Match, the Best of 7 will resume with Game 3 and the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Player leading 2 Games to 0. " This is NOT two Bo3's. This is a Bo3 that can expand into a Bo7. So if DRG wins, Naniwa has a better chance to win the tournament, If Lennock wins he has a code S spot.
Leenock already has a Code S spot guaranteed for next season as he is in the Ro8 of Code S this season as the only zerg.
