There are certain colossus/archon/templar/chargelot with a few stalker unit comps that Protoss can field that slap the shit out of MMM/viking/ghost provided the templars are utilized properly. Of course, it all comes down to unit positioning/upgrades and how well Protoss can avoid EMPs. Well placed storms can decimate a Terran army. However from playing both Protoss and Terran at a high-masters/GM level I can say that it is significantly harder for the Protoss in that situation, so much so that generally it becomes a one sided battle.

Kinda silly imo... I don't see how terran can ever compete with gateway units that have been made even better with the ghost nerf and cheaper upgrades Conveniently missing game 2.....

It is especially impressive when he takes down the best terran in the world. His strategies wee not something out of ordinary or very impressive. It's the fact that 99% of pro protosses know them and still die to every other Terran, seemingly. PS I also find MC's unit control impressive. He can be sensational. It didn't necessarily apply in this series, however. As for Terran, I find it impressive when they do a lot of multi-tasking like MMA does against zergs with his drops.

Don't think ghosts or upgrade cost had anything to do with Mvp losing game 3

But all the (zero) tech MC had off of 6gates and a cyCore was pretty high tech and all works amazing against tanks... I wonder... what could terran do? /sarcasm

When players like Ganzi Puzzle Oz sC don't make it through and a player like State does? or ddE even? Now that's some bracket luck. Props to them though!
