MC's ownage yesterday is being counteracted by terran!! noooo XD. I think Sleep will surprise and pwn everyone in the group. Korean zergs are like korean terrans imo, aka hard to beat for a foreigner. Hero could perhaps beat him, this match should be good. If Hero wins Sleep and one of the terrans, he could win the group. But both Tarzan and Select are good vs protoss, so it will be hard :o

But from what I have seen of Heros PvT Select and Thorzain will probably win but he did beat Marineking in WCG though.

Being a student of Nestea also helps, I can only be disappointed by Sleep today.

The word is Huk's not showing his strong game until the real deal begins because he doesn't care what his seeding position is (and $1K is nothing for him now that he's paid handsomely by EG ^^).

HuK vs. Stephano, and Protoss tears The series between everyone's favorite money grubbing Frenchie, Ilyes “Stephano” Satouri, and everyone's favorite highest paid western player, Chris “HuK” Loranger, was one of the more interesting. The Metalopolis game served as a commentary on the Protoss race as HuK came out of the game frustrated and with no answer to Stephano. “I literally tried everything,” he said, “and I couldn't figure out how to beat him.” HuK's statement was far from hyperbole, as he pulled out two motherships and carriers in the match, and even a few well-placed vortexes weren't enough. Of course, in the end it really was about the money – the $500 second place prize went to the man who wanted it most, rather than the man who needed it less.

edit : I have to again say how awesome esfiworld is, it's not the usual live reporting and news site, it's an opinion site, they make some analysis, some stats, it's real interesting content and not just fill content like we see in a lot of esport sites.

"Money-grubbing"? $500 to "the man who wanted it most"? 8^/
Did I miss something about the denouement of the Complexity/Millennium saga?

Huk wasn't throwing the game, but either his PvZ is a mess or he wasn't using his planned out transitions. Both games he stayed on Gateway units longer than he normally should be.
He was playing seriously. He wasn't, however, breaking out his "gotta win this game or else" builds.

Im really hoping Thorzain will do well but Im worried. He wasnt playing to convincingly in his last MLG performance and last weeks quake tweet didnt make me feel any more assured. I hope hes gonna do well tho.. last mlg performance? you mean columbus back in june? No I'm talking of the MLG invitational league where he played vs sase last week. Can't remember what it's called but global something I believe. He did great at valencia so I'd he can pull a performance like that he should be alright tho. Then again that was like a month ago.
